I cannot use my product..came damaged oily

Avoid
Though the mackerel inside the can have a neutral taste, few bones, and the oil used is fairly neutral, the mackerel come from Tunisia. Because mackerel is a product often high to very high in mercury contamination I would avoid this brand and look for mackerel from Alaska/Atka where the mercury levels are much lower. As I did buy a can of this in an actual Trader Joe's today (February 15, 2023) I can also attest that in the store it's $2.99 per can (Davis, California Trader Joe's).
