Live Sphagnum Moss for Vivarium, Terrarium, Craft

Beautiful moss, was a lovely green color on arrival. No extraneous plants or critters. I planted it among my sarracenia purpurea pitcher plants, and it's growing beautifully.

I don't know anything about moss, but I can see the color of it. I just received my package and about half is brown (which I assume means dead) and half is green (which I assume means alive). I was under the impression that this mass was all alive

dissappointedreceived the moss very fast, but when i received it. it was soaked. SUPER SOAKED! i immediately tossed it, since i could not use the moss for what i needed it for.if you want quality moss, spend the extra money.

I bought it to hold carnivorous plants. I have had sphagnum moss around for planting orchids, and this stuff wasn't like it - real sphagnum turns brown when it's dry, but greens right back up. This stuff just dies. It's texture is also a little different than sphagnum.Other than that, the quantity was good, and the quality of whatever it was seemed OK.

Sphagnum is doing fine and growing well. Only problem is (was) the amount of moss delivered, otherwise I would recommend using this supplier if someone did not have a source of their own.

Moss packed in ziplok bag and arrived in perfect condition, not too wet or too dry. Lovely green shade and highly vigorus. A must for any bog.

When it arrived I assumed that the sphagnum moss was for my nepenthes. But it turns out it was for amphibians etc.
