I have taken care of the flags (about 30 3' x 5' nylon flags) lining the streets of our gated golf community in Central Florida for about 5-years. The flags take a beating in the harsh Florida weather. These cast aluminum flag holders mounted. on stainless steel 6-foot flagpoles have withstood the test of time. Although the flagpoles come with plastic flag holders, they cannot withstand our weather like these strong metal holders, which are lightweight and strong. I've never had any of these flag holders fail in any way.

Got these to replace plastic ones that came with our Costco flag that didn't spin well so our flag was always getting wrapped around the pole. These seem good quality, spin freely and were easy to install. Will have to wait for a windy day to see how well they perform and will report back. Just be sure to measure the diameter of your pole and purchase the correct size.

These flag pole rings are very well made from aluminum and stainless. The rings easily fit over 3/4 inch EMT conduit and are a snug fit over 3/4 inch steel conduit or pipe. The design of the rings is good and machining is excellent. I found that the directions for spacing the rings on the flag pole or staff must be followed to the letter. If you attempt to stretch the back of the flag by placing the rings further apart than the exact distance between the flag's grommets, the flag will wrap itself around the staff and not unfurl. Even when the spacing of the rings is only slightly greater than the grommet spacing (by as little as 1/4 inch) the flag will furl itself around the staff in low wind conditions. As the wind speed increases, the flag creates sufficient "pull" to allow the flag to unfurl. I suspect the reason a person would space the rings wider than the grommets is to keep the spine (back) of the flag from sagging. Trust me - spacing is critical for the unfurling process to work properly and keep the flag from wrapping itself around the staff or pole..

Purchased the plastic ones first, which did not fit according to the specs. These did and looked great. Installed them on a PVC pole to replace old zip ties for a flag holder. Decided to paint the flag pole to match the spinning holders with a hammered pewter finish. The entire pole now looks like metal. Pleased!

I think these are going to be way better than the rings that came with my flag pole. Unlike the original ones they don’t have bearings that rust and stop working. Just sturdy rings with easy rotating hooks for the flag.

Using these on 1" round steel electrical tubing.I've never had a better setup on the back of a truck. They spin freely and effortlessly if installed properly. And they look great too!Only small issue, is that the Allen wrenches stripped & couldn't tighten the bolts properly. No big deal. I just drilled holes & screwed in bolts which secured them better anyway

The fit is good however they do not spin as freely as I expected, my flags continue to get wrapped around the poles. I have tried the ones with bearings and have the same results. Maybe its just the way the wind hits where they are located. But none the less I still have to untangle my flags multiple times a day.

When the cheap plastic ones break, buy these! Easy to install and very strong. I thought I'd have to buy a new flag pole until I discovered these . They come in different diameters so measure first before buying.Highly recommend.
