I needed something to hold down my 1 1/2" stock without being in the way for my CNC machine. These work great

I liked the fact these matched the machine in color and material. Beyond that, they were finicky, not quick nor low profile.I ended up purchasing Rockwell low profile quick clamps and corner braces. That system was a fair bit more expensive but is easily worth the cost in improved ease of use, ease of installing and removing, reusability, and quality of parts.This system involved using up nearly 15% of available space of the row they were put on, or 20% of the column they were put on. I expect 10% of lost space to clamps, not 15 to 20. If they worked fantastically well, that would make the difference in size make sense, but in this case I would go for the proven metalworking clamps.

After spending hours setting up my machine and putting everything together, the clamps are useless because of the t-nuts being slightly too big.

Note that the machine comes with 4 identical clamps, so you really don't need these unless you need extra holding power.
