not suitable for sunny days
2 stars only for the build quality and the packaging but problem is the 2-5 stops is not suitable for f2.8 lenses in mornings and noun (direct sunlight) so it useless for me especially because I am living in a sunny country, and this info is never mentioned in almost all reviews so take care in this cases you may need 6-9 stops

Good piece of kit but with some drawbacks you'll need to consider
I bought this for my 16-35mm 2.8 Sony G Master for my A7SIII. When I hit the wide angle side of my lens I can see vignetting on the top right of my pictures if I'm at 5 stops. I basically can't use this if I'm shooting wide but this is a common hindrance with VNDs. This VND does the job past the 24mm mark. I live in Britain and our 2 days of sun a year work perfectly for the 2-5 stops provided.While I appreciate the lens defender idea, I feel like the rubber part of this lens defender for my purchase is loose, so dust does slip in between constantly.Would I recommend? It depends. For professional work steer clear of this with your wide angle lenses. I've kept it as part of my hobbyist kits as the vignette and defender issue I have aren't deal breakingI still appreciate it's capability to be easy to use for my run and gun shoots.

I received this product and was excited.The packaging says it 2-5 stop variable nd.The cover of the lens also say 2-5 stop variable nd.But the lens I found in the cover is nd8.I’m assuming this is probably a second hand to me even thought it’s stated on Amazon it’s brand new.I’m assuming this was send to someone and swapped the lens inside and requested for a refund. Amazon apparently approved it and was send back. I guessing Amazon didn’t inspect the lens inside and still posted it on line as 2-5 stop variable nd filter.

Horrendous Packaging
How on earth have I paid this much for this to come in a tiny box. Looks nothing like the unboxing videos I watched before hand. Funny thing is the price isn’t different

und ich würde ihn wieder kaufen!Die einzelnen Stufen von 2-5 rasten leicht ein, damit man die Werte jederzeit wieder perfekt einstellen kann.Falls du nicht weißt welchen der beiden Filter du kaufen sollst (2-5 oder 6-9) hier einige Infos die dir die Kaufentscheidung erleichtern sollten:In gut ausgeleuchteten / lichtdurchfluteten Räumen und einer Blende zwischen 1 und 4 sind die Stufen 3 und 4 des Filters passend. Stufe 5 verwende ich nur draußen wenn die Sonne scheint!Die zweite Stufe des Filters kann mit offener Blende auch bei weniger gut beleuchteten Räumen verwendet werden.Falls du also einen Allrounder für drinnen und draußen suchst, dann ist der 2-5 deine beste Wahl!
