Good beginner cube

I’ve never used / tried doing a Rubik’s cube in my life. Mostly because I wasn’t exposed to it growing up. I knew what it was but didn’t know anyone who had one.At first, I felt the cube I bought was too light in weight, loose, and too delicate for me. But, after an hour of trying to figure how to solve it (bc I don’t know Chinese… which the instructions it comes with is in), I was hooked. I then began to understand and appreciate why it’s lightweight and slides easily when I turn. After 4 hours over a span of 2 days, I went from solving it in 2 min to 7 sec.I love it! So much so, I bought another 2x2, but the pro version (to compare and to keep one at work… because meetings…) and a 3x3 (we’ll see if I can solve that one). They should be delivered soon. Can’t wait!Thoughts on actual product:• beautiful vibrant colors• no stickers to worry about peeling (or cheating…)• material feels very nice• this is my first cube of any kind, so can’t make any comparisons or comments on magnets and tension• I also chose this one vs others because it’s logo is actually nice and I can read it.• The reviews were generally good.• No bag included, but I knew that when I chose the 251 M Air.• comes with cube, tension tuning tool, instructions for solving (in Chinese), and a user’s manual (in English)Note on tool: I tried it but I couldn’t get it to work right. It got stuck to the tension nut. I thought I broke the cube, but once I got the nut back on, I haven’t tried again. Next time, I should read the manual / instructions it came with…

This cube is honestly really good, and the turnings really smooth. Its kind of loud, which is a really big problem, there is no spring noises though. I would recommend putting some sort of lube with it, so it turns a lot more faster. Overall, this cube is really good, just put lube on it.

It’s smaller than I expected but my grandson loves it so that’s all I really care about.
