DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PRODUCT!!!The product came with so many red flags, but I wanted to give it a chance. First, the package came in already open. The package was slit down fully on one side already when delivered. The next red flag was that the product itself came with a horrendous chemical smell. They advertised "no peculiar smell" in the description, but I smell peculiar and disgusting. I absolutely cannot handle the smell of any of it. Another sign was that the product I received was nothing like I was expecting. I received all four components, but each of them do not meet my expectations. The curling wand does not have a pearl on each end like other review photos show. The material that the wand and scrunchies are made of is NOT silk. It does not feel as smooth as silk does, but has a rougher texture. My wand itself has tiny white hairs/threads already coming out of it and I received it today. Upon closer inspection, my wand is not stuffed evenly either. Each end is a different size from the other and half of the wand is thicker than the other half. This will not produce even curls AT ALL. The scrunchies feel like plastic. There is no stuffing in them, only air and even then it is not that much air. Because there is no stuffing/air filling the scrunchie, I can feel how rough and cheap the material is. The hair clip itself is opaque and looks like something you can purchase in a pack at the dollar store. I don't know if the product I received is just an outlier from the rest or tampered with due to the opened packaging, but I would NOT purchase this product again nor would I recommend it to a friend. If anything, this experience has ruined this type of heatless curling wand for me again. I have yet to even try the product out due to how disappointed I am. I do not want to put this product in my hair in fear that the smell will transfer to my head and/or my bed.

I bought this and another brand to test out which ones would work better. Unfortunately, they came in right before I had to leave town for a month long trip and when I came back and finally had a chance to test them, I was outside of the return window, so now I'm stuck with them.The satin seems fine enough, but the shape & hold from this product is not good. I've tried it with both damp hair and dry hair.My biggest problem with the item is if you don't keep it clipped in, the rod moves around a lot which then messes with the integrity of the curls it's trying to create. If you leave the clip in at the top, then it creates a big ol' lump / kink at the top of your head. The rod with the other curler I bought stays in place without a clip, which is why I know it's a manufacturing defect of this brand.Because the rod moves frequently, the curls aren't as good as the other brand I bought. They tend to be very weak in the back, which can be expected, but not to the extent where the "curls" in the back just end up being big kinks in my hair.I'm super frustrated / sad that Amazon couldn't do anything to help me return this product.
