Q: anyone else get this and find the decals missing? They are not listed in the parts list at the back of the book nor the Lego online service pages.

You can always go directly to Lego's site and get any missing item. I have had it happen a couple of times and they are very responsive with no questions asked.

Q: Does the gun actually shoot?

Q: There is a bar in the back that you can pull and it springs back. My son is hysterical - pieces flew off after he did that. Happened to anybody else?

Oh no! You want the seat ejecting, not loose pieces. If pieces are flying off when you use the ejector seat, something might be a little off earlier on in the build. Maybe a piece is slightly out of place, or a couple of parts aren't pressed together quite tightly enough. A little rebuilding, especially around the roof, should do the trick. Q: Why is this so overpriced? the local lego store in brandon, fl is selling it for $149, same as lego.com.

I’m not sure which buyer you’re using; I got it for the same LEGO.com price after it’d been on the market for a while.
