A must have in my yard
I try to garden organically as much as possible, however I apply this to certain trees every year. We have a massive fir tree on the west side of our house and even more than it's beauty we value the much needed shade it gives our home. Six months after we bought our home we started noticing that sticks knocked down in storms had bark beetle damage and sap began to drip on our front walk. A friend told me about this product and although it's pricy (that tree is so big it takes over a gallon of this stuff to treat it) it's worth it. The year after I first treated the tree the sap stopped dripping, and the sticks that fell didn't show any new beetle damage. 5 years on after started using this every spring our neighbors, who have lived next door for 50 years, frequently comment on how much healthier the giant fir looks now compared to the days before our stewardship.I also use it on a couple of Ash trees that are in a part of our yard where our kids like to play. We had a pretty bad wasp problem in our yard, especially near the ash trees, which were always crawling with aphids and it resulted in our small kids not wanting to spend time outside. I bent my organic rules again and started treating the ash trees annually. Ever since I started the aphids, and therefore the wasps, have been gone. It also gives me peace of mind with the ash borers being so bad the last year or two. It's easy to mix, easy to apply and depending on the pest you're dealing with results can be fast. The first time I applied it to the ash trees I saw results within a week and with regular treatment every year they haven't returned. With the bark beetle s in the fir it wasn't quite as fast, that took about a year to see results but it was worth it.

Saved my tree
We have a big maple in our backyard and it didn’t turn red last fall and this spring it did not look good. I bought this and used as directed. Within two weeks the tree was leafing and it looks really great right now. It did not smell bad and was easy to use. Idk if the tree had pests or a disease but it appears to be much better so…

WOW! What an AMAZING DIFFERENCE = WORKS!!
After YEARS!, I mean YEARS of what I learned last year was ‘Scale’ growing on my mum’s Japanese Magnolia Trees (2) (see the pic = YUCK!) I did some research, and learned about this product. Initially, I tried to treat the plant using just diluted Neem Oil spray. Unfortunately, the treatment did more damage than good (when treating w/Neem oil it really has to be diluted or it will burn the plant’s leaves, etc..)..Apparently, all I needed to do was get this stuff, Shake out a bit and scatter it around the base of the trees. The way this product works, is that the product sits at the base of the plant, and when watered, the product then soaks into the ground and the plant then uptakes the product into its system, and when the pests (scale, gnats, aphids, etc..), attack the plant, they basically get a mouth full of YUCK!🤮 and either die or go away. DO NOT USE WHEN RAINING! as the product will not soak into the ground and treat that specific plant, but instead, it will go where ever the water goes and potentially contaminate your garden and any edible plants growing nearby, and you DO NOT want to EAT anything treated by this product!I figured “Meh, Why Not?!” I’ll give it a try at least, at approx. $23USD, it was well worth it to try.Around February, I had my mum (82yo) treat the trees, which consisted of just shaking out the designated amount of product and tossing It around underneath both trees. I stated her age to emphasize that anyone can use this product, it’s that easy to use.By March, both of her Japanese Magnolia trees put out blooms like they had not in YEARS! I mean they were GORGEOUS! We had neighbors comment on how beautiful the trees were. All that, compared to previous years, where both trees were sickly, covered in leaves, but few if any blooms, and almost every joint in the trees had these yellow black ‘lumps’. I now know the ‘lumps’ were ‘scale’, and the black stuff was likely black soot/fungus. We live with some tall trees behind us/on our east side and the trees although located further out in the yard, probably both were infected by the black soot being in the air/drifting on the wind and landing on the trees. But, after this treatment, all GONE! *smiles*😁👍🏼I HIGHLY RECOMMEND You try this product on ANY “NON-Edible” plant. Do NOT use on ANYTHING You plan to EAT! Because, this product works by your plant up-taking it into the plant itself and distributing it throughout the plant’s roots, stems, leaves, blooms/fruit, etc...Also, You only need to make sure to use this product far enough in advance of Spring/Summer that the plant has time enough to up-take it and distribute it internally. BEST OF ALL, You only need to use this product ONCE every YEAR!! (12mths!)••••> PRO’s: ••••••• EASY USE - Just Shake it out and distribute it under the plant at the base.• PESTS / Lots! = This product treats a WIDE VARIETY of plant pests and disease(s).• QUANTITY / Lasts! = Depending upon the area/plants you wish to treat, it really only takes a little bit of product. Plus, as You only need to apply the product ONCE YEARLY, a little bit goes a long way, and the container size should last you a long time.• ANNUALLY = You only need to apply this product ONCE YEARLY!• COST = The approx $23 cost is minimal when you consider the quantity you get, along with the amount of product needed to treat a plant, considering all of that, the price is cheap!••••> CON’s: •••••• TOXIC = This product is toxic enough that it should NOT be used on ANY plant that produces Edible Produce/Fruit. Because the plant up-takes the product into ALL parts of the plant, the stem, leaves, blooms/fruit, so that anything edible will be full of this toxic product, not edible and toxic if eaten.• CONTAMINATION = MUST be applied to plant at base on a dry day, because otherwise, the product will spread to where ever the water it sits in travels and can potentially contaminate other plants that produce edible fruit/produce, making it in edible or if eaten, potentially poison whomever eats it.• TIMING = Must be applied early enough before Spring/Summer that the plant has time to up-take the product into itself internally and distribute it through out itself.••••> OVERALL OPINION: •••••Overall I feel this is a GREAT product to use and try, it worked WONDERS to completely cure two very over run and sickly Japanese Magnolia Trees, which are now producing Gorgeous Blooms! And, I no longer feel bad/guilty, because the trees look so bad/sickly (& I don’t have to worry about the scale spreading to our other plants!!) Unfortunately, I do not have any of the pics from the trees blooming this year, because I waited too long and there has been so much rain, BUT, I’ll try to update with pics next time they bloom, to show you just how gorgeous the tree and blooms are now, all cured, green lush and entirely covered in beautiful purple flowers!😁👍🏼

Easy to use and measure
I will give it a 4 for now based on other reviews but it will take time to see results. One container was enough for my 10 new bushes.

Super Simple Application
With ash boring beetles now in our area, I purchased this for our Mountain Ash tree which is showing possible damage (one arborist said it has insect damage but another said it was sap sucker damage). Decided to give this a try for the ash as well as a huge beautiful birch tree. Applied in early Spring. This is extremely easy to apply (l’m in my 70’s). Watered it in well and then had some rain on and off for a few days. So far both trees look great, with the ash tree looking fuller than last year. 5 stars for ease of application, but will not be sure of actual results for a while.

It works
Many years ago I had borers in my red oak . I was worried it would kill tree. I also would get aphids ( Mother Nature’s pruners ) periodically. Talked to an old arborist. He recommended this product when it was owned by Bayer .’This company took over a few years ago . Same exact formulation I’ve used for over 15 years, it works. Never had problems since I apply every spring. It is not for fruit trees, as it is systemic and transfers to fruits.

No more Iris Borer
Gets rid of Iris Borer too. Just a little does the job. Thank you.

Cap with big hole in it
In terms of effectiveness this is to be determined since I just used this on my crepe Myrtle about two weeks ago. However, there are some positive signs like it’s looking less scaly and leaves are coming out so that reassures me I didn’t kill the tree. BUT my issue with this product is the cap—which you are supposed to measure the fluid into—is very flimsy and mine had a big hole in it. So I basically poured whatever this stuff is all over the ground, the bottle, and my hands. Great. Maybe if I have some aphids or borers in me it will clean them out. I’ll get back to you on that.
