A solid block that definitely helps post shave skin care
Liked the fact that the block of alum was just that. A solid dependable product that will last a long time. I use it after each shave. Will reorder, however needs far better protection when shipping. My block was broken in several pieces

Way better than expected.
I’ve had trouble with nicks and cuts, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs all of my adult life. I have gone from multi-blade cartridges to a safety razor which has helped tremendously as well as away from alcohol based aftershave.After struggling with an aftershave balm and a stiptic pencil for about two years, I happened upon this product. I bought one about three months ago and I am a complete and total convert.Less sting than the stiptic and I don’t even need an aftershave or balm at all. Skin is smooth, very happy, and seems to retain moisture better than before.The best part is that it feels nice to apply! It’s lasted a long time, longer than anticipated. Great value and I will absolutely buy this once I need it again!

Useful, but gives me eczma
I was really excited to use this for my shaving, but I soon realized that when I use this alum block, my skin breaks out into itchy spots all over my neck. Definitely a useful product, but it does not work for me.
