An everyday carry bushcraft.
Great knife. Fit and finish well beyond price point. Quite hefty but that is what you get with a knife that is built to take on the hard work.

First Civivi product/only fixed blade I carry now
I’ve never written a review on Amazon but this product deserves one. I bought this knife while overseas with the military, with something of quality and durability to abuse in mind. First thing I did to ensure i wouldn’t baby it to keep it in pristine condition: chuck it into the dirt a few times. Though the edge was dulled, the blade didn’t lose its finish. The modular belt clip allows you to carry scout and conventional, while the kydex sheath allows for tip up carry (I do this on occasion because I wear my uniform pants high). I’ve had this knife 8 months now. I sharpen it maybe once a month using ceramic block or a diamond rod and clean it after use when wet. A wipe on the pants or coat, then the occasional rinse and wipe down with the microfiber cloth included. If you have smaller hands, the narrow design will suit you. If you have large hands, the swell at the rear of the handle will suit you. I’m a knife collector, and I chose this because it seemed like a happy medium between something heavy and ugly like most commercial fixed blades, and something light weight yet maneuverable like a typical folder designed for field use. It’s durable and serves its purpose as a reliable tool exceptionally well. I’ve yet to use it as a pry bar and I wouldn’t recommend doing so as D2 will likely snap before it bends, however with this in mind the edge retention is unheard of and yet despite that, as you may find with high carbon steel, it’s weather resistant so long as you care for it. You’re not going to find fractures or pitting forming over night if you fail to clean it after a days use. If you’re looking for something of moderate size for every day carry, or something to use as a field or kit knife, you truly can’t go wrong with this product. There’s nothing I’d change about it from design to material. In my opinion, the manufacturer listing it for the price it sits at is charity to the public

Just enough
My lady likes to keep a fixed knife around. We have bought several. I like the quality of this knife, I like the positive interface it has to the hard sheath, and I like the feel of the knife in my hand.Beats my Gerber Strongarm everytime.

High quality with a great case.
I carry this knife all the time. I use it for opening boxes in my inventory and several other utility needs. The blade and handle are solid. It came sharp, and is easy to sharpen. The Kydex holster is solid and holds it firm, but not too hard to pull out and put back in one-handed. I love that the belt attachment is solid and adjustable. I have mine horizontal so it stays under my polo. That way people don’t think it is meant to be a weapon at work. I used to use folding knives, but switched bc I don’t have to put down whatever is in my left hand to fold or unfold my work knife. Don’t get me wrong, if you are a knife self-defense person, this is a great blade for that too. I just don’t have that in my skill set if I am being honest. Anyway, this is great and pretty inexpensive. I think I paid $60ish. It came with the case, a cleaning/ oiling towelette, and a good length of cord. The cord could come in handy for survival situations. Happy shopping!
