Bought in 2016, Still Love Them, Perfect Size, One-Hand Use, Great Buy
I bought six of these metal, magnetic, spice tins in 2016. I have thoroughly enjoyed them! I keep my less used spices in the cabinet. However, I wanted quick access to my most used spices, while cooking. I keep mine on the stove. However, the magnetic base covers the entire bottom and is quite strong. So, they'll securely stick anywhere...With that said, I use mine daily and have simply worn them out! A couple of the closure covers are lose and I finally broke the cover on one end. The lids and tins themselves are still in perfect condition. However, after thousands of openings/closures, the plastic finally gave way. I did not expect these to last a lifetime. And I'm very surprised they've endured daily use for over 8 years. I could easily use them without the cover, but since they're exposed on the stove, I prefer them covered. I would definitely recommend these, as I am ordering myself another set.I've included pictures to better show all 3 pieces of the shaker and how they fit together. As you would others, I suggest periodically cleaning them for optimal function and to prevent buildup, esp when used over steaming meals.Note: I read a comment that the lid would not close after filling and it fell off during use. This has never happened to me. The metal tin has a small lip at the top, ensuring a tight and secure fit. You can hear a click, when the lid is pressed down completely. Unless the lid was faulty, I can only see this happening if it were overfilled or not pressed down completely. Also, there was a comment that the spout cover would not close. In my 8 years of experience, this only happens if there's an accumulation around the pour/shaker spout. The other possibility could be if the cover was used to pull off the lid vs grabbing the lid itself. (Which I did once) Since it takes a good tug to get the lid off, if the cover was pulled, esp at the wrong angle, it could have damaged or stretched the plastic. Otherwise, they have been extremely durable and have well outlasted my expectations.

THEY WORK!
GENIUS! Just renovated our Beach Condo kitchen . I love to cook and didn't want to take up valuable cabinet space with the myriad of spices I use regularly. This is BRILLIANT, and they look fantastic ! I used 24,The magnetized bottoms are strong and the actual size is perfect.Large bottles of spices are a waste of money and cabinet space , they lose their potency quickly. these are the perfect size for useable amounts.22 are firmly stuck to the side of the fridge, the remaining two are filled with course ground salt and pepper then stuck to the side of the microwave over the stove for easy quick access. With A pour spout in one corner, a shaker spout in another or take the whole top off for measuring spoon these are easy and practical to use. They don't come with labels so a brothers p touch is a good thing to own. or get creative with round chalk board stickers and a liquid chalk pen. They WORK! and look good too!.

Best magnetic spice boxes.
Love the way they look ,functionality. Tight fitting lids, they don't come with labels that would have been nice.

edited: not air tight, so the spices clump, salt will rust
Great spice jars, Strong magnet. I'm moving across country in a tiny house, and these stuck to my fridge and didn't shake off during transport. (if you drop them from your hands, though, the clear plastic might pop out- you can pop it back in, but you'll likely lose some spice on the ground). They are great for taking to your bulk foods store and getting exactly what spices you need, and you can see how much is remaining. the square shape keeps them lined up on my fridge and taking up minimal space (they're plenty large for almost every spice except high use spices you might buy/use in large quantities). I got a set of two on my first purchase, and i have two more on my wishlist!edit: after a year of use, i learned that they're not air tight: things were clumping, solidifying and the salt ended up holding enough moisture from the air that the jar was rusting inside. use at your own risk.

Love them!
These are great, about the right size, they stick to fridge or microwave nicely (but not onto glass on top of metal like the front of an oven), sprinkle or pour options conveniently suit what is needed, they don't make a mess, easy to load, and fairly good looking. They aren't quite as beautiful as some of the glass ones out there but most of those don't have sprinkle/pour options and/or have rotation style tops which from other reviews apparently drop a lot of mess every time you use them. That's why I got these instead and have been very happy with them. I wanted to be able to quickly grab a spice and sprinkle as needed and these work great. Price is reasonable too and it's just so convenient having all the spices out where I can easily find them and it's freed up some shelf space for other things.Only cons I would say is be advised you will probably want to label these somehow, if you have a lot of spices, some look very similar to each other. I plan to try chalkboard stickers. Another thing is about 5 of my shakers came dented, not sure if it was an anomaly or they need to be packing these better.

Lids fall off 😡
I'm an over 60 female who loves to cook. I moved in with my son due to disability (mine) and since he is not much of a cook I had to find ways to organize all my supplies in minimum space. These looked perfect. Unfortunately, I quickly found out the magnet is strong enough if you don't pay attention to grabbing the container on the body and you pull on edge of lid the lid comes off in your hand and spice mess goes everywhere. I had to use tape to secure lids and that is plain ugly. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
