Oscium WiPry-Spectrum, 2.4 GHz iPhone iPad Spectrum Analyzer

This may not be the tool for a "professional" using spectrum analyzers. But if you find yourself having Wi-Fi connection issues, this thing is a godsend. You can even fire up your microwave, and watch the interference happened right in front your face. It really is the tool that is needed for Wi-Fi, and it can really improve your Wi-Fi signal.The only complaint that I have, is the instructions on how to use it are very vague. Some of the basics are noticeable, such as it only sweeps the 2.4 GHz band, so you can literally plug it in, and you will see your signals. But the app seems like it's designed for someone who already knows how to use a spectrum analyzer. So you're going to have to do some research on how to use a A spectrum analyzer, what the abbreviations are, and what you're actually looking for. All in all, highly recommended. I almost thought about buying the other version of this, just to have a complete set up.

A great wifi spectrum analyzer that works well with my iPad and iPhone. It is small, and easy to use. Just download the WiPry wifi spectrum analyzer app from the Apple iStore store, plug in the WiPry, and run the app. Very intuitive screen operation. No need to lug around a laptop, just pull out your iPhone, plug in the WiPry, and walk around to see the wifi spectrum. Works the same with the iPad, except the screen is larger. Great for troubleshooting WiFi interference problems.There is an option for an ipad oscilloscope or iphone oscilloscope, which I did not buy.Oscium also makes a ipad logic analyzer and iphone logic analyzer.

It Works very well, it allowes me to see whats going on in the spectrum very clearily and easily. My only problem is that i think its a little pricey for what you get. But, theres nothing else like it on the market, and I suppose that regular spectrum analyzers cost a lot more. So, overall, Its worth it.

Works great, it takes some knowledge and practice to make the most out of it.The only thing missing is that it does not show the SSID's of the networks. So you will have to use a 2nd app for that.Please note that this device ONLY WORKS WITH A ORIGINAL APPLE DOCK-LIGHTNING adapter. I have tried several alternatives even if they allow you to sync your iPhone to iTunes it will not work. You need the expensive genuine Apple adapter.

It shows the usage clearly but is a bit expensive. A cost of about $50 would be more reasonable for this device.

As expected - great product - a little time spent on figuring it out - but works great in the end.

limited usefulness on an iPhone. Must have a $100 adapter to get full info. Even then free apps on Android devices give more info.
