First let me say: I am amazed at the superior quality of this knife for the price! I expected a somewhat flimsy basic bread knife for this price. This baby is super sturdy, easy to handle and nice length and very sharp! She works AMAZING! On everything from thick meats, fine breads, to delicate slicing of wedding cake layers! I bought it to replace an expensive major brand one that I loved, which fell on the floor and the handle broke off! Was a sad day for me, but.. I actually like this one much better!
