If you spray areas around your house once a day, early on for us, it will keep your cats from spraying. since we introduced a new cat into the house it's been hard on all of our existing cats trying to adapt. I don't blame him for acting out. Not at all. but it is destructive behavior and does need to be controlled if at all possible.

Did not work for my 7 year old cat. sprayed it on the christmas tree skirt— my cat literally laid on it. Does not deter my cat at all. I can’t speak for all cats, which is why I didn’t give it 1 star.

Bought to deter one of my cats from pooping on the floor. If I spray the areas she goes in shortly before she is ready to go, it seems to work. The problem of course is her times are not predictable and the spray once dried doesn't deter her. Luckily she pees in the box. Also the amount of coverage needed to spray means it doesn't last very long.

My cat kept urinating on the carpet next to the litter box. This seems to help stop her for it.
