Pretty good value, and the performance is great so far. Good quality battery and if fits oem size of course.

The battery is good. But the tools that come with it are not so good. Was unable to remove the two little screws holding down the receptacle at the bottom of the phone. The tool for it is shaped too long and skinny so that it will not turn the screws but will remove part on the screw little by little. That is reason for four stars.

I got this battery thinking I could install it but I have not been able to do it I have a android it was a pice of cake these iPhones are very difficult

High range or charge

I am a engineer. I have a masters degree in mechanical engineering. I watched the instruction video twice.What the video COMPLETELY left out was that, when removing the battery adhesive, it is VERY easy to cause a short between the battery, and a black metal dividing “wall” inside the phone. There is about a 2 millimeter (about 1/16”) space between the two metal points, and the tool provided to pull out the tape is a pair of tweezers made of steel. Obviously, to me at least, that I was using the proper tool - it was clearly used in the video.So, while following the instructions EXACTLY, a short occurred, and the phone caught fire. Shooting out sparks, open flame - picture a substantial fire work going off.Luckily, I’m an experienced research engineer who has put out more than a few fires in the past. I happened to have a pot of water nearby, so I grabbed a pair of tongs (the fire was that hot) and tossed the flaming phone into the pot. The phone and battery continued to burn, UNDER THE WATER, for about 4 to 5 seconds. I am not exaggerating in the least.Sooooo, I pulled the phone wreckage out of the water, and walked away. The next day I went and dropped $750 a new mid-grade iPhone. I had problems recovering my new phone, because the old phone was a charred wreck. So, I took everything home and decided to do a crazy experiment…I researched the now completely dry innards of the iPhone, and I decided to take a long shot. I reconnected the separated ribbon wires and rebuilt the phone. I had another pot of water and tongs at the ready… and, I then attempted to power it up.AMAZINGLY the phone screen turned on! I had NO idea how long it was going to continue to function, so I quickly set to work on transferring the info from the charred wreck to the shiny new mediocre iPhone. And, holy crap, it worked!!!So, in short (Ha! Get it? “in short”!?!), don’t buy anything from this seller. Unless you like really expensive fireworks.

I don't feel comfortable charging it. It heat's up a lot and I am afraid it might have a catastrophic failure in the middle of the night over my nightstand or in my jeans pocket.On the positive side, seems to duplicate+ the charge I had (old original battery was at 69% of original charge when replaced), it's fully recognized by monitoring software, fits perfectly and it's easy to install (you need to feel comfortable handling very small screws).I delayed the install for over an year assuming that might lead to some new problem. Confirmed it (the heat-up), I feel that I am going to trade-in it, so IT WAS NOT WORTH the effort and money for me, but you might try to extend this IphoneX life a little further.
