Best ever and ever
I have never used any speaker better than this before. I wish I had money to buy the same again for my best friend. Anytime I feel lonely I just on it and the sound it makes even makes me melt

Proud to own one!
By far, the best sound I’ve ever come across. I’ve tried most known brands but this has got to be the quality comparable to Bose, It’s portable, affordable and enough battery life to enjoy. I’m raving on it coz you won’t regret it.

Sound quality is so-so
Having used the Go+ Play 2 (which i love) for a while now, i thought of looking at other speakers from this company. What grabbed my attention was honestly the price; for what I paid, it seemed like a steal.About a week later i received the Oynx Studio 7, and my impressions upon first listening to it were, wow it's bass is way too overpowering. Furthermore, there are no adjustments that can be made to the bass from the speaker itself, nor is there an accompanying app to make adjustments, unlike with JBL (owned by Harman - Harman Kardon) or Audio Pro. As a result you are left with a product that isn't faithfully representing what the artist at all intended, because the bass is far too dominant regardless of the track you're playing. The bass is loose and not taut as i, or any audio enthusiast, would like; It means that songs which might have a more drum like kick to them, end up sounding as if you've dialled the PC cinema subwoofer to the max, thereby overpowering everything and sounding unnatural.I also find the treble not to be shimmery enough for my liking, but again that is something the Go+ Play 2 excels in. It's not an open enough soundstage. For the record, i've owned the Studio 5 before, and despite the concerns around it's rechargeable battery depleting too quickly and not being replaceable, it sounded much better. The bass was deep, but not overpowering; it sounded organised and not unhinged...which is unfortunately what it feels like with the Studio 7. The studio 8 is no better, other than the fact it has water resistance, which is kinda cool.

Massive bass & not very portable & battery claims optimistic....
But for £115 refurbished payable in three instalments from HK website, it'll do. Its big & heavy & arrives in a massive unwieldy box. The massive bass has a life of its own, so if like me you mainly listen to classical, its a bit bonkers. There is a trick to turning it down, but it still eclipses everything else. If you want clarity & balance this is not the speaker for you. If you want thud &volume, go for it. It comes from holland & with european plug. I didnt realise & had a quick panic about duties & taxes etc. You will need a uk plug. Am sure my ears will adjust to it in time. Thank goodness Beethoven was deaf!
