Drawing: The Complete Guide to Drawing, Sketching, Zendoodle & More! (Sketching, Pencil drawing, Drawing patterns)

This book is a great tool for beginners to take a try at art and decided on what they want to do. The projects here are easy to follow and it enables and provokes the reader to use their imagination.This books redeeming feature was its succinct but also clear explanations. I personally prefer the chapter 3 work on sketching and shading, then the following 2 chapters on drawing the human face and perspective. There are also some pictures here and there; in this case, I think more illustrative examples should have been used, since we are talking about art here. In this book there is a lot of wordy advice, tips, instructions and guidelines to take and make use of. On that I saw no flaw.

Everything around us really has patterns in order to master such thing, just like in drawing, you need to know what are the patterns and tactics to make your art work a masterpiece. Back then I was a horrible drawer, my friends at school usually mocked me because of my art works, well I assume they did not consider them as an art. But I guess it is not too late yet to venture in this kind of hobby. After reading the book I was able to get enough ideas on how to get a start up pack in creating a nice art work. I believe that this book would be a great help especially for those who has passion in creating an art work.

Drawing is my favorite hobby and I really liked this handbook. By reading this book I have learned about drawing, sketching and much more. Inside of this book I have found tons of helpful guides and I am glad to read this book.By reading this book I have learned about what equipment and tools I need. This book is perfect for beginners. This book taught me about how to create my 1st landscape. By the help of this book I have also learned about how to sketch and shade. By reading this book I have understood about what are Zendoodles and what are they use for. Overall, this book is fantastic and impressive.

I always thought to myself that I was hopeless when it comes to drawing but I now realize what I need is a guide to help me and this book gives me just that. I love the exercises which help me to evaluate if art is my niche, and I now think it is my niche based on those exercises and this makes me happy.There is a simple list of tools which is very encouraging because I don’t need a lot of stuff and they are not expensive. It was interesting to read about Zen doodle and its origin. I loved the pictures which helps me as a visual learner but would have appreciated if there were more pictures, diagrams and illustrations because this is a book about drawing.I’ll keep practicing my drawing and I have the right book to help me.

This is a fine introduction to the world of drawing for the total neophyte (like myself) who wish to acquaint himself with drawing and perhaps or not continue. It have easy to follow guides which anyone who's just starting wanted to learn all the simple basics that any beginner should know. Since I love to draw out of my idle times, i keep on reading every page over and over then tried everything out of this great book. I would definitely recommend this book to learn drawing.

This was a great book, Because I have a lot of drawing experience already, I didn't read every page. But its great for beginners! If your interested in Zentangle or Zendoodling, this book will be a big help. It explains how to get started, where to search for ideas, and gives you the pros and cons about all the different tools that can be used. This book is a quick read which covers the fundamentals of zentangle and features of this meditative art. It can walk you through the process of creating a Zentangle and teach you how to create one by yourself, it has clear step-by-step procedures and photos to help you out. Great for beginners.

This book will be definitely helpful for beginners! My drawing skills weren't really good, but after using this book, I can draw much better now! First, it introduces you to the most important material in drawing. We need to know its type and kinds and what are they used for. So you need not to worry about the outcome of your drawing because you are doing it for the first time.

Well, I bought this book because I quite like the world of drawing and it really is something I enjoy. The main intention was to learn new drawing techniques, learn about materials work and improve my technique itself.This book is filled quite my expectations, I got lots of useful information that could learn and improve; however the book has few drawings so sometimes the message transmission is difficult.

Hard to write a review before actually reading the book... Amazon Kindle app is not letting me to read the book before writing a review first.....

It would be nice if there were pictures in it by way of examples, all written information is not as good as it could be if it had pictures to demonstrate what the words are saying.
