Had one of these which got wet and blew, still had batteries so bought another, bit heavy but a decent diy item, reasonably priced and would recommend to others as it’s batteries also reasonable priced.

This is my second one of those. Bought first one from Aldi. Lasted about 18months. Bought second one from Amazon last March. Seized up today. Just used for general diy.Now left with 2 useless batteries and no drill.

Bought this as an interim replacement for a Makita tool. I am quite hard on cordless tools, and this one has lasted me well over 2 years with no issues. I have wrecked the chuck, my fault, but other than that it has never missed a beat. Probably not sturdy enough for trade use, but for medium/heavy DIY use it's more than adequate. Just don't try loading a 22mm masonry drill bit and drilling through concrete. That's what killed the chuck.

Good drill for the money, but the battery is now difficult to find in the UK. Most seem to be imported from Germany at quite a high price, and you risk being hit with the added cost of import VAT when you receive it.
