how many pounds of force was this designed to prevent forced entry for security at home, in hotels, or business??!!

I don't know but the thin threaded rod used to fully extend the PetSafe bar does not look sturdy enough to hold up well. I use the Wedgit Lock security bar that has been independently tested Intertek to withstand 400 lbs. of pressure in compression testing.

How many lbs of force can this security bar withstand based on manufacturing testing?

I do not know if PetSafe ever tested the strength of their security bar, if they did I'm sure they would have shown the results on the product page. I use the Wedgit Lock Twist Tight Adjustable security that was independently tested by Intertek for an appearance on QVC to over 400 lbs. of pressure.

Can the company send a Replacement bracket or can they be purchased?
