Worked for most applications on my 5X
Works fine for using standard micro, 2 amp, changer when that's all you have available. It wouldn't allow file transfer with my 5X though. It worked on a couple of other things as well so overall 75% of the possible uses were fine.

The cheapest way to convert your charger :). Works great with my Nexus 6. At first I was thinking to buy new cables but this converters chipper and it's great that I can still use my old cable for old phones.

Okay in a pinch
The micro USB doesn't fully insert into the female end of the adapter. It still works but I don't know if this affects the speed. Takes a very long time to charge, especially in the car.

Great adapters!

Many shapes, colors, sizes, but most of all different quality!So this is a female micro-USB to USB type C male and you get two in the box. They are even in nice little slots for presentation.They work about as well as you could expect. I tried out the transfer speeds with multiple devices and I got speeds comparable to what I would get with micro-USB. I won't publish the results because they differ on the computer and device. And of course, they work fine for charging phones and whatnot.They do appear to be made with high-quality materials. I don't think they will break anytime soon. I just wouldn't go and run them over with your car, though.So if you are in the market for a female micro-USB to USB type C male, then look no further. The price point is good and you get two in the box!Note: This will not give you USB C speeds, you are still bound by the limitations of micro-USB. Not that it's a big difference but it does exist.This USB adapter was given to me at a discount for my fair and unbiased review. This in no way shape or form affected my review.

Sturdy little adapters!
I am soo pleased with these adapters. First off, they are just as described quality USB Type-C to Micro-USB Adapters. I bought some from another vendor and these you can definitely feel the difference. Some of the others that I’ve purchased in the past fell apart after I had used them for only 5 days, but these, they are so well constructed and well worth it. Given that I have several micro-usb cords these will definitely come in handy at work and on the go with my brick chargers. I’ve attached a few photos so you can see how well they are constructed.The name of the game for me is having a durable product that allows me to still utilize previously acquired cords from other devices and this is definitely it!! Overall, when it comes to getting the job done, it allows me to charge my phone using any of my old chargers and that's what I want and need done. It’s definitely a plus that I have an adapter for the USB-C part. In regards to the sturdiness, I do like the thickness of the adapters (see pictures attached) they should withstand normal wear and tear over time.
