I got the black version. It comes in a cool box with a photo of the original colors. I will get that version soon. I like how they packaged it with a protective slip cover too.Out of the box and slip cover, the mouse looks true to form. It looks straight out of a movie screen. The face itself is done in a black matte color, while the side, chin, and top are done in a shiny black plastic. It gives it a cool metallic look. The eyes light up in red when I turn on the switch. The only thing that kind of clashes with the color scheme is the red scrolling wheel. I would have preferred it in black to make it resemble the original mask/helmet.Once it is up and running, it works fine. It slides around fine on a good mouse pad. The scrolling wheel is very quiet and rolls very smoothly. That is a big plus. The left and right buttons are also very quiet when pressed and work perfectly. The scrolling wheel’s button is fine too. It is the loudest of the buttons but not bad. Most mice work like that. It also has a middle button just under the scroll wheel on the forehead that clicks when pressed, but so far, it doesn’t do anything on the screen. All in all, this is a great mouse. I like working with it and looking at it because it is done well.
