Quality Product
*** Seller: I bought the Belkin 7-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with 12 feet Cord from Amazon.com LLC.*** Shipping and handling: Amazon.com LLC did a wonderful job in packaging this product. It arrived in excellent condition.*** Usage time: I received this product on February 4, 2015, and from the date of this review, I have been using it for 31 days. I'll update my review periodically.*** Performance review:- Negatives.None.- Neutral.(1) The angled plug is convenient for tight spaces. Some people have complained about its right-oriented design, but that doesn't vex me. I simply place the surge protector somewhere to the right of my workstation.(2) I haven't experienced a surge yet (and I hope I never will), so I can't comment on the device's ability to protect my devices.- Positives.(1) Still working after 31 days of continued use (with all seven outlets occupied [laptop, scanner, printer, and so on]).(2) Based on the device's appearance, it looks both sturdy and professional. A reset switch is located on the side. Indicators on top show whether your devices are either protected (green) or not grounded.*** Summary: I thoroughly enjoy this device and would recommend it to anyone seeking a quality product. If this device were to break down, I wouldn't hesitate to order it again from Amazon.com LLC.

Perfect!
I somehow didn't notice it had phone jacks on the end of it before I ordered, but this was the only/cheapest option I could find that had a flat plug, and a 6 foot cord, and was a surge protector, AND had indicator lights for protection at least (this additonally has a light for ungrounded).I feel like, what's the point in having a surge protector if it can't tell you whether it's protecting you or not?I needed the flat plug to fit behind a door that remains open fully and has my outlet behind it as a result. Perfect.I don't and probably will never have a use for the phone jacks. It came with a sticker over them which I will just leave for now. But this fit the bill of all other criteria. I guess the 5th criteria was a "known brand" - I didn't want some cheap "travel surge protector" by an unknown company. Belkin, Tripp Lite, APC...don't risk your expensive electronics. I also got a few of the Amazon Basics ones to put around the house and replace the power taps we were using. But they don't have flat plugs.

Belkin Stands Behind This Product
My 5 year old LG 55 inch TV and receiver got fried due apparently due to a power surge. I was so bummed, until I checked and discovered they were both plugged into a Belkin powerstrip/surge protector at the time. After submitting a claim to Belkin and them testing the powerstrip they determined their strip was at fault and they cut me a check for the depreciated value of the TV and receiver. As a result of Belkin standing behind their product I've replaced every powerstrip/surge protector in my house with a Belkin. Just be sure to take a photo of your receipts, or put a copy in the cloud so you can find it if needed. Also, something I learned is that even though there may be a "Lifetime" warranty on a surge protector, the "Lifetime" is the expected lifetime of the product which is not forever, but only 4 or 5 years. So just be sure to read the fine print and replace the strips when they are out of date...Can't say enough good things about Belkin and how they stood behind their product. Too bad most other companies don't do the same.

high quality
excellent quality, heavy duty and the spacing for the plugs is spacious and easily allows seven items to be plugged in.

Exactly what I needed, with right-angle plug and hard-to-find 12-ft cable
I needed this surge protector to set up a TV with Apple TV on the other side of my sunroom, as the GFCI outlet is 12 ft away on the house wall. The right angle plug of this surge protector also allowed me to plug a Netgear AV 200 Mbps Powerline Adapter into the remaining socket on the GFCI outlet, which I then connected to a D-Link gigabit switch. The switch feeds both the Apple TV and my MacBook, so that I can watch TV/movies/podcasts on my HD TV and surf the net at the same time, all at 85+ Mbps while I get to enjoy the sun and warmth in my (100% UV-protected all-glass) sunroom. A friend also suggested hooking up a blender to make Margaritas, though I haven't tried that yet ;-)One of the 7 outlets on this surge protector is further away from the other six, providing more than sufficient room for a large block-type plug (such as that of the D-Link switch). Thus even with everything plugged in, I still have a couple of extra outlets at my disposal. All in all, a "best of all worlds" set-up for my sunroom that took this hard-to-find surge protector to complete. Most highly recommended.

Sturdy Plugin, Reset Button on the SIDE!!
Purchased because back then my dad would rip out the round grounding prong for it to fit into our house's old outlets (2 prong). We still have the 2 prong outlets but I learned what the round third prong was for an immediately purchased adapters and replaced the "adjusted" power strips.I chose this for it's warranty, guarantee, voltage, number of outlets it had BUT MAINLY to stop my dog stepping on the reset button! It has occurred countless times, specially when I'm working or in a middle of a game and that threw me into a pit of despair along with worrying if my computer's build and other electronics plugged in would be damaged. It's a bit harder to plug things in, but as such it's also sturdier and harder for it to pull and/or fall out, which is a great thing IMO.Highly recommended.
