Small Camera, Big Adventures!!!
I recently purchased the Akaso Brave 7 action camera for my travels and hikes, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. The image quality is stunning, capturing every detail of my adventures. I was particularly impressed by the optical image stabilization, which keeps my footage smooth even during the most intense activities. While I love everything about this camera, there is one small drawback: I can't use both screens simultaneously. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall performance.I've used this camera for hiking, biking, and even a bit of kayaking, and it has consistently delivered excellent results. It's rugged, durable, and perfect for anyone who loves to explore. I would highly recommend the Akaso Brave 7 to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable action camera, especially for travelers and adventure seekers

Better than GoPro
A very fun toy to play with, learning the settings and capabilities. The batteries last a long time and the card holds tons of images and videos! For the cost, this camera has an unbelievable range of capabilities. I highly recommend getting the accessories kit as well. That way you can configure just about any setup based on your video needs. I already tested it underwater. The video is unbelievably crisp and clear, and the motion is smooth. I do not have a special cover for underwater videos, as this camera can safely be used in the pool. There is a lot to learn and many options to explore. I recommend this camera; the price is unbeatable, and the quality is very high.

Akaso Brave 7 Action Camera Review
I decided to try out the Akaso Brave 7 action camera as an alternative to my previous GoPro cameras, largely due to its competitive price and positive reviews. After testing it, I’m impressed with its overall performance for the price point. The video quality is decent, and the camera performs well for most situations. While the microphone quality isn’t on par with more expensive models, this isn’t a dealbreaker for me as I typically use external audio solutions for high-quality sound. One of the standout features is the value-packed accessories. The Brave 7 includes two batteries, a charging dock, a wireless remote, and multiple mounting options, which makes it ready to use right out of the box without needing additional purchases. It’s a great deal compared to some competitors where accessories are sold separately.Shopping through Amazon was convenient, with quick shipping and easy setup. Based on this experience, I plan to purchase additional Akaso cameras in the future to expand my gear collection. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly action camera with solid features, the Brave 7 is worth considering.

A Robust Action Camera With Unmatched Value
I've been looking for a camera that can survive a bit more cold than the GoPro 12 Black, and much hasn't changed with the 13. I loved the Gopro app, but the camera would always shut down when skiing. I tried the DJI Osmo action 4 but didn't care much for the app. Insta-360... not so much. And the value, again it just isn't there.I never gave much attention to these "budget" cameras like the Akaso, but when I saw this Brave 7 being compared to the Gopro And DJI on Youtube at nearly half the cost on sale, I thought I may as well give it a try. And mind you, I was extremely skeptical. I have always thought you get what you pay for in electronics but guess what, I was wrong. This little piece of equipment is not only robust, but it actually stays on while skiing. Didn't turn off once unless I turned it on and off myself. I didn't try and tuck it away like with the Gopro, worrying that it would get frostbite, lol. This little gem stayed lit the whole day. All I did was change batteries and gave it voice commands, which by the way never failed. And the app??? I'm no tech genius but it's very intuitive and I have had no problems navigating it. Picture quality is right on par with the other 2 as well. This thing is solid, with a hefty, robust build quality that really made me think I had made the right choice. And so far, so good. My only concern is this. What was I thinking by limiting myself to two of the top brands when this little guy is right on par with them and costs $250 less. Out the door cost = $179.99, and that included two batteries and many accessories you don't get with the other two.I feel strongly that this camera is going to fit my needs nicely at a price that's well, quite astonishing if you ask me. It's a real value and given a chance, I think you will come to that conclusion as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Total dissapointment. A complete waste of money and time. Don't even bother.
Not worth the money. I had high hopes after seeing so many good reviews of the Brave 7, but as soon as the camera arrived I knew there were going to be issues. The body itself is a nightmare if you're trying to use it without the remote or app. The buttons are hard to press and the frame is very difficult to grip comfortably even for someone with small hands. It came with 2 batteries, which I assume was an attempt to dissuade anyone from commenting on how SHORT the battery life is. I made sure to fully charge both batteries before powering on the camera for the first time and yet the battery had dropped down to 70% after the camera had been on for only 20 minutes. I hadn't even taken any photos or videos yet. When I did take the camera out to test it I found nothing but absolute disappointment. The video and photo quality is ABYSMAL no matter what settings you use. Everything came out grainy, ugly, and pixelated even when photos were taken with the camera held perfectly still. I don't even want to comment on the microphone situation (which basically may as well be nonexistent). I've gotten better photos out of $10 disposable cameras from the early 2000s.Even a child wouldn't accept the quality of the images and videos produced by the Brave 7. My genuine advice is to stay well away from this camera and to invest your money somewhere else. I will be returning this IMMEDIATELY.
