Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal Xbox
I've been a big fan of good quality headphones for most of my life to the point my wife says I've got an addiction. I had been looking into getting a pair that were Dolby Atmos compatible as there is a good selection of Atmos audio on Tidal now. These sound pretty good, great detail, clear sound and although not mega loud they are loud enough and also comfy enough for listening for long periods.I read other users comments regarding ANC and volume being too low but I think they are fine. I have a 7.1 home cinema setup in my living area and my wife was watching a movie and I could not hear any of it. Even without any sound the headphones fit well that it keeps external sound down.Usually for listening to music I use my AKG K702 on an iFi Zen DAC (sometimes Sennheiser HD650) and even though my Beoplay Portal hasn't burned in properly yet there are details on some of my favourite tracks that I haven't noticed before (non Atmos tracks) and i can see these being my new favourites.I would have preffered the Navy ones but it was going to take another week, ordered the grey (which were even cheaper) and they actually look really good (better than the image). The seller for these are Only Branded and mine came brand new and sealed. If your looking for a wired / Bluetooth / Xbox Wireless headphone for music or gaming I would say look no further, it's a good buy especially at this price

£195 Bargain!
Had these on all day, I’m in love!Out of the box they don’t sound like much, but once you tweak the app to the way you like your sound then they’re on fire 🔥 you have a 5 band EQ for gaming and then a separate EQ for music, I mainly listen to metal and I use the energetic setting on it it’s immense, cause i hear every nuance and the soundstage is beautiful, would be slightly better if you could just get like 10% extra volume, some older tracks play really lowYou get a Dolby Atmos license with it that activates straight away on the Dolby Access app for Xbox but I much prefer the soundstage that comes from Dolby DTSX for headphones, just enable it in your Xbox audio settings after you’ve downloaded the DTSX app, if you’ve bought the license trust me it’s so much better after you’ve tweaked the EQ they way you want itI’ve not had any connection issues as yet with my series X or any crackles or pops etc, the mic is crystal clear too, I’m using a wired CAT8 connected series x with virgin giga 1 broadband. I have a house full of gadgets and iPads for the kids and multiple Xbox’s / TV’s connected to my Wi-Fi but still no interferenceBattery life is a bit on the crap side, was totally dead when I received it, fully charged it and got about 4hrs playing call of duty till it was time to die again but I think that’s cause i have them on full blast and crank the bass up a fair bit for them explosions 💥EDIT* I charged them overnight and now the battery lasts a good 12 hours gaming, I think I needed to give them a big charge as they were totally flat when I received themLast point, I picked them up for £195 and I’m amazed by them for that price, I’d have paid the full £450Hope this helps you guys decide as I was very skeptical too, but for £195 it was a no brainer

AVOID THE SELLER AT ALL COSTS
The product itself is not bad and for the price of £153 provided great experience. The seller is absolutely horrible. The return they offer, although stated to be free, was not. The seller asks for the return to be paid by the buyer. Upon receiving the product back, the seller refused to refund the money with no particular reason. They advised to reach out to amazon who were particularly unhelpful with the situation. Horrible experience and the situation is not resolved yet! Do not buy of you are unsure whether to keep the product.

Ok as general but overall dissapointed. Good for music - terrible for TV
Bought them as general bt headphones, mostly for tv and long music listening.Sound quality when it comes to listening music is great. You will need to download app to use different music type sound settings.Gaming - here i didn't test it as i actually don't have a xbox just pc - was able to test dolby atmos app and sounds also good. Those headphones have a massive flow - they are not loud. Most of the time i had to play at max volume just to enjoy it but clearly lacks room for more volume. Shame really

Awesome sound
Headset is comfortable, ear cups are just right for my ears, possibly on the small side for some people though. The sound quality is amazing, detailed and crisp. Battery life could be better, but that's a small gripe as it's easy enough to charge in use without any noticeable drawback. Highly recommended

Average but good
I bought them on offer for £150 instead of £400, but now they are selling for £150 without any offer. Well offers! However, they sound good, the Bluetooth connection is good, and the mobile app is quite reliable. Using this app for sound equalization is a great way to alter the sound in your headphones. I bought them for my Xbox S because it lacks Bluetooth functionality. These headphones work well with Xbox S, and you can also use them as everyday headphones too. It's possible to connect them to any device.
