Cooks By JCP Home cooks 5-in-1 Power Blender w/attachment

Bought this at JC Penney. Used about a 2 dozen times and now it doesn't work. JC Penney won't refund because it's beyond 60 days even with a invoice. It looks like the plastic on the inside of the part that rotates has shredded off. Therefore defective. No matter what the discount I would not purchase any Cooks brand again. Probably won't purchase anything from JC Penney either.

I purchased the very basic set at JCP many many years ago. So long ago I can't even remember how many years its been. I do remember that I paid less than $20. My blender is still working. I go through "spurts" when I use it quite often and then times when it stays put away for a couple of months. I don't have any other blenders of this type to compare it to, but for the price I paid, I feel like I got my money's worth. It can be a little temperamental at times. I sometimes have to jiggle it to get all of t h e contents to mix properly. If it's overfilled, it will leak. Easily solved. Don't overfill it! ;-) I've mainly made smoothies and salsa in mine. It decently chops a little ice as long as there's liquid added with it. Not sure it could handle ice alone. It met my needs just fine, as I didn't expect any miracles. These days, I'm happy if a product like this lasts more than a year without either mechanical failure or the plastic parts breaking. I think it's a decent blender as long as it's priced between $15-$20. It has,served me well. I'm now planning to go on a juice/smoothie fast. So it's time for an upgrade that will hopefully be more powerful and stand the test of time. Hope this was helpful!!

Tried making a smoothie this morning and the cup is stuck in the blender machine part and I can't get it a loose......any suggestions? I have tried upplugging and pulling for over an hour. I have tried sticking a knife in the side and it's not coming apart. I may need to return this but will wait to hear back from you.AND ITS A USED PRODUCT....dirty and nasty.

Easy to use, easy to clean. Orange juice with baby spinach, a banana, blueberries every morning.

Received broken. The cog in the bottom was worn amd would not turn the blades. Was bought as a gift for a froens. I have one that has worked great for 5+ years. The new one I bought was horrible. She said she opened the box and it was obviously used.

I used this blender for over 3 years before it finally gave out. I think I may have put to much ice in, and the blade actually came right out of the middle of the ring, however, I would highly recommend it, because for the price you can't beat it! I'm mixed fruit, veggies, hunks of ice, ground coffee beans and it's worked great. price here is a bit high as I got mine from Penney's for just over $20 for the full set.

Product was not at all what was described. It shows 6 cups, but only came with 2.Don't order this if you think you are getting what is in the photo. I returned it for a refund. SCAM!

Had this for almost 6 years so far and it's still going great. I blend smoothies in it several times a week and they come out well. You have to blend them for 30-60 seconds to get a smoother texture, but works great for my needs. Only con is I wish they had a larger cup for blending larger smoothies.
