ESV Compact Bible (TruTone, Stone, Branch Design): Holy Bible, English Standard Version

I really like this little Bible. It has a pretty outer cover, and it’s small enough that it fits in my purse easily, so I can carry it with me anywhere. I use it often.

This is the perfect size to keep in my car

Needed a Bible to fit in my purse and backpack, works perfect and is cute. I assume it’s because of the thin pages and gold edges but the pages stick together at first. I found that separating them, if still stuck after trying from the sides, can be done towards the spine (top and bottom parts of pages). Five stars overall, but I recommend a larger print if you have trouble reading. I think this print is smaller than my Gideon’s pocket New Testament LOL

This is my second Bible and love the compact size of it. Compared to my big study Bible, it weighs next to nothing and fits in my small purse perfectly. The text size is 6pt which is small (compared to study Bible 8.5pt text) so I did order the same kind of ESV Compact Bible but the large print teal gold foil flower one which is 8pt text to help with my aging eyes. Giving this one to my ten year old daughter. Though I wish the large print one I ordered came in this gorgeous stone color instead of teal, it’s a really pretty grey color and the gold foil details on the cover and spine is everything. The pages are gilded too.The paper quality is what you’d expect, thin tissue like most Bibles but minimum ghosting compared to others. Crossway makes different compact bibles but I did notice the paper quality is better with the gilded Bibles for some reason, the white edge has more ghosting. Overall I love it but did order the larger print version to help my eyes.

This is exactly what i was looking for!! Small & easy to carry, font is small yes but not too hard on the eyes.I’ve been reading more often and it’s been a challenge carrying my bigger Bible. This is smaller than the wallet I carry so it’s perfect. Super cute too so that’s a bonus.iPhone 14 Pro in the photo for size comparison.

My daughter wanted a small bible for school. This one is the perfect size for her backpack and it is cute. She loves it!

This Bible is so soft and the color and design are beautiful! I just didn’t read the dimensions so I was pretty surprised with how tiny it is, not exactly what I was looking for. No worries, I’ll just be save it for when my daughter is big enough for it.
