I came into the product with certain expectations on its functionality. After using it for a week or so, I've come to the conclusion that this is not what I need, and I will be either tossing it, or putting it aside for good.The main thing to note is that heat does not actually remove the ink of the Frixion pen from the page effectively. After applying heat via a hairdryer, it would seem initially as though the writing vanished, but as the book cools, a large amount of it returns to its original opacity. The only effective way to remove it is by using a frixion eraser, but it takes far more time and energy to erase every single page by hand. You are better off saving your money and investing in a different product. DO not waste your time on this scam :)

Not worth it. Just buy a erasable pen.

I bought this after buying the standard sized notebook same brand. I like smaller size better as easier for me to carry. I also own a rocketbook in similar size. This was cheaper and also came with pen and sticky flags to mark pages. I just use water or the eraser on the pen to wipe/erase the pages. If my notes were really important I probably would purchase rocketbook, but I don’t take them in heat and this meets my needs. B/c pages are erasable it means I can carry around just what I need and when don’t need the notes I just wipe them away - no paper to shred or throw away. I don’t use app - notes aren’t that important. I like the sticky notes however they leave behind stickyness on the pages that I couldn’t wipe away with water. Can also use the frixxon pens (recommended for rocketbook)if want different color pens.** Update I’ve had this notebook around 3 weeks and the included pen has already run out of ink*** I think the Frixxon pens erase better (than included pen) too so get a pack.Some reviews say you don’t need the notebook just the eraseable pens. I think still need notebook. If you are only erasing a word or two having a pen only might work, but multiple pages being able to wipe with water is much quicker.

I was hoping that this notebook had similar functionality to the Rocketbook series. I especially liked the 6.9" x 9.8" size, which I think is the perfect-sized notebook. So I was willing to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I didn't realize that you need to rely on camscanner or a similar third-party app to scan. In essence, all you are doing with this notebook is taking a picture and sending it to a folder or other destination and then manually shifting it to your archive location. It doesn't auto-format the way Rocektbook does, so you wind up with crooked pics, pics that have to be cropped, and pics that include the wire binder. Nor does it sync seamlessly with apps like Onenote or Evernote. So ultimately, you can accomplish the same thing with a $3 Meade notebook and a cell phone as you can with this thing. So what's the point? If you are really are into the reusable paper thing, then this might work for you, but, as other reviewers have noted, using a hairdryer to erase ink on the pages doesn't work particularly well either. You wind up with ghosted imagery that still has to be manually erased with a wet cloth or friction eraser. So to me, it's just not worth the money. Just get a Rocketbook and be done with it.
