FIMITECH Bluetooth Headset, Wireless Earpiece V5.0 Ultralight Hands Free Business Earphone with Mic for Business/Office/Driving

Update: It's been nearly a year and these have survived being dropped in water and going into the washing machine by accident once. Best headset ever.This Fimitech headset is Bluetooth v5.0, so call and sound quality are good, battery life is great (about 8 hours talktime roughly, I've not timed it exactly) and it's comfortable to wear for hours even with glasses, day after day. The case is handy to protect it, the volume and mute buttons are responsive. Double tap the call button to redial last number or press it once to pause/play music or audio books.The only thing that could be improved is the battery level displayed on your phone, it always shows 100% until you start hearing low battery. Which usually means it will run out of power in 15 minutes. It's not so bad once you get into the habit of charging it regularly but it would be nice to see fix in a firmware update.For comparison, I've used many single ear Bluetooth headsets over the years ranging from super cheap and rubbish to very expensive and this is my current favourite. I've owned 3 Plantronics Voyager Legends (they cost £70-100 each) which lasted me for years but the mic degrades over time so they become useless for voice calls (plus they all end up in the washing machine by accident eventually). I spent a long time looking for a replacement because even now that Plantronics headset only uses Bluetooth v2.0 (so you're paying top price for outdated tech) whereas the standard is now v5.0. This Fimitech headset is much better value for money and works a lot better, so I recommend it wholeheartedly and will be buying more in the future.

I was asked to review this product and am very happy to share my experience with you.First thing about this is the packaging. it is extremely well packed with little chance of being damaged.After charging the headset first time, connection to my phone was simple and reconnection almost instantanious. Connecting to two devices also quick and simple.There were five different earpieces, I had to change the fitted one and these fit really well. The headset is very light and fits around the ear well and after a short time you hardly notice it is there. It is such a good fit that going to the gym wearing this would be no problem.The next thing I had to do was to change the sound with my device equaliser as the headphone seemed quite tinny as I suffer severely with tinitus. Simple and sound really good.I listened to music until the battery died. Nine hours forty two minutes (9:42). Brilliant.After recharging which took one hour and fifty five (1:55) minutes, the earpiece remained on standby almost twelve (12) hours a day for seven (7) days. over this time a several phone calls made and received and lots of music listened too. Clear sound all the time and at one time I was fifteen (15) metres from my phone and it was still connected. I was caught in a heavy shower and the headset got wet but after drying it off there were no problems.You would be very hard pushed to find a better headset than this without paying extortionate money for it and even then this one would outshine them.Overall a good headset. Light. Fits well. Good sound, Very good battery life . Very well priced

I have used this for about a month and this works well for the price. The quality of sound is good. There is no noise cancelling so people can hear surrounding noises. The only thing I did not like is the sounds you hear when adverts come while you are listrening to some youtube videos etc. This is not loud but can be small trouble. Otherwise "little useful device"

bought this unit as i recently took up riding a pushbike and it was a pain continually stopping to answer the phone in my pocket. it arrived super speedily and well packaged. Love the little case that it comes with to protect it while not in use, a very nice touch i think. having tried the various different size earpieces, found the one that fitted best and proceeded to link to my iphone. this took about 20 seconds and was exceedingly easy. next came the testing, tried playing a bit of music, which was lovely, a nice clear sound that wasn't tinny, the volume buttons were nice and responsive (had to turn it down as originally i set it at full volume and it was way too loud), and enjoyed the track i listened to. Found the headset to be really comfortable to wear and after a few minutes didn't really notice that it was there. now for the main function i bought it for, telephone calls. Rang my son using siri, and the mic was very responsive, unlike some i have had in the past, i didn't have to repeat myself to get the headset to respond, it activated first go. the conversation was clear, crisp and my son heard everything i said clearly, while his responses were also nice and clear with no signs of interference or breakup. kept the headset on playing some music while i went upstairs to do something and suffered no interference or loss of signal, even when i was 2 floors up. overall i would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a decent bluetooth headset for their phone, as i find it to be one of the best i have ever had. It's also not drastically expensive which is an added bonus.

Connected to my S8 straight away with no hassle. I mainly use it for calls and youtube audio. It is in standby for about 12hours a day with less than a dozen calls and a few hours of youtube audio. On a full charge it can last me a fair few days, so I'm very impressed with battery life. It is very light weight and very comfortable to wear with clear audio. I have used bibxy voice command to dial calls whoch works fine at times and at times it needs a little pusuation.Some people have pointed out the short charging lead on it. While it would have been nice to have a longer lead, don't let this put you off because it is so lightweight that I just plug it in and let it dangle without any pull on the cord or the plug.Overall, I'm very pleased with this buy and would recommend this product as a good buy.
