Having purchased a legitimate Neumann TLM 103, I also needed a shock mount. The genuine Neumann EA1 shock mount costs hundreds of dollars, and while I can understand why the microphone itself would be costly, I can't imagine for the life of me why a shock mount needs to be that expensive, so I bought this one as an alternative.I can't imagine needing anything else - it gets the job done perfectly and the price is definitely doable. Spend the money on the mic - not the shock mount.

I don't know how the TLM 103 is sold without a suspension mount. Mine picks up a good amount of stand noise when it's on the included mount. This is compounded in my case, because my metal grill popper stopper is attached to the mic stand, and when I pop a "p", I hear the stand resonate through the mic.This cheap little mount fixes it. :-)I can't speak to its durability, but it seems decently put together.

Good quality metal, perfect fitment and support to the microphone. I been thinking to buy another for have a extra if this ones go discounted. You should grab one two 👍🏽.

I didn't expect much with this for the price but it actually has worked out better than expected. It's a secure fit with the TLM 103 unlike most have said. It did have a small mark on it but I didn't feel like it was worth the hassle of sending it back as it didn't effect functionality. It does what it's supposed to, comes with extra bands and makes my mic look even nicer than it already does! I honestly can't tell the difference between this and the EA 1 neuman. I imagine it's a better build and I think this has a coating that could wear off with time and the more expensive one probably doesn't have the coating. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far, I'm pretty happy with it! Definitely worth trying if you don't want to spend or can't afford over $200 for a shock mount. Due to the mark and coating this gets 4 instead of 5 stars
