Nice simple design
We can’t live with out one of these for the summer time. Here in the south , the mosquitos start coming out quite early so we have to have one on hand. It works good pulling out the poison from bite to make it less itchy and it heals faster. 10/10 . Recommend for sure. But you have to catch it right when you get bit.

Works for fire ants bites
So easy to use kids can use it on themselves. Do you live where fire ants are? Buy this. It makes the reaction less.

Worked well, until it cracked
This device works pretty well. I used it a number of times. Even when it wasn’t immediately after being bitten, it still helped some to reduce irritation. Unfortunately, when I picked it up to use it for the first time in a couple of months, it didn’t work. Somehow the applicator cap that you use to press against your skin had cracked. It looks like it cracked when the cap was on with the large part on the big piece, and the little hole out, for a small bite. I’d mainly used it with the large part against my skin, with no problem; when I switched it, it worked, but apparently the stress from being a little small (combined with the plastic drying out with age) let to it cracking while it sat on my shelf. You’re supposed to take it off and clean it after each use, which I did. At least it worked for a while! Just be careful with that piece. Don’t leave it on the big piece with the small hole out.

This silly little thing actually WORKS
I am a security guard and am often posted outside for 10-12 hours a night. My current post is guarding the outside of a building that has a small parking lot. A wash (desert equivalent of a ravine/river) sits right on the other side of the chainlink fence that follows the perimeter of this parking lot. And it's currently monsoon season so this wash is full of water/muck/tall grasses and all the flying insects that come with still water. (Mostly mosquitos and chiggers) So I'm stuck sitting about 6-20 feet away from it. I also don't have working ac in my truck so I roll the windows down. Needless to say, despite wearing literally THREE different kinds of insect repellant, I still get bit. A LOT.Personally, I don't think this thing actually removes the toxins from your skin. But I think it does do a decent job of bringing the venom/mosquito spit upwards toward the surface of your skin, enough to make the itch subside. Also, the feeling of the surprisingly powerful suction feels SOOOOO GOOD on the itchy bite.Does it work every single time? No. (It does NOT work on chigger bites, unfortunately, but if you look this up you'll discover that chiggers don't bite like gnats, mosquitoes, etc do. So this would make sense) But this thing works well enough for me to carry it with me whenever I go, and to absolutely recommend it to anyone who asks. It's also super easy to clean. I would 100% buy again.Side note: if you watch any of Coyote Peterson's venomous bite videos, you'll see he uses a professional-looking version of this little device. His is much bigger and is made of strong glass, and I'm pretty sure his actually DOES draw the venom all the way out of the skin, but either way when I saw him using it I was so excited. Him using the same sort of technology as this (in my mind) proves that it works. Lol.Update: so this thing DOES have the ability to suck out the venom. Sorry this pic is kind of gross TMI, but I applied heat to this bug bite and then used the bug bite thing 2x and wouldn't you know, there's something being sucked out if the bite here, as you can see in this close-up picture.I am satisfied. Lol.

Top broken
I have loved this device in the past, it works wonders! However when I went to order more years later, the quality is not the same, both of these split at the top and are no longer usable since it relies on suction.

Actually works!
I live in Florida, where the noseums are really bad along with the mosquitoes of course. I get bit so quickly I had to find something and this is the thing! Use it immediately or if you don’t have it around you and you can use it later either way it works. I couldn’t believe it! It’s amazing to find something so simple do exactly what it’s supposed to.

DIDN'T WORK WELL DAY AFTER BITES
Lucky me! My 18-yr-old indoor cat ran out at night and was gone for over an hour. There is a pack of coyotes that has a den 2 blocks away, in the direction he ran. He would occasionally run out and bounce around the front yard for 5-10 minutes to get me to play “chase the kitty”, but if I didn’t want to play, he’d come right back. That night, I think he was playing “chase me” with the neighborhood rabbits. (I’m sure he had more fun than they did!)I am lucky! He came home!!- but brought fleas with him. I ordered fogger, and sticky strips, and this tool. The next morning, I laundered all of the bedding in hot water. That afternoon my veterinarian sold me flea treatment that would be safe for my 2 old cats, and I treated everything with diatomaceous earth, since the foggers didn’t arrive till the next day.Unfortunately, I had been bitten several times before this bug bite tool arrived the next day, and I had big allergic welts. I tried the bug bite tool on all of the bites, and it only worked on the one from this morning that still had the small white center. I used the tool 3x, and still had to squeeze out the last of the white center. If I haven’t gotten rid of every flea, I’ll use this tool at the first itch! And I’ll be super careful going in and out of the door, since an old cat is faster than an old lady!
