Thanksgiving upgrade
While we have not yet mashed potatoes with this product, we look forward to implementing this obvious upgrade to stainless steel from old mashers with a tendency to rust.The product appears to be sturdy. We expect many years of service.

Just like Mom's Masher
Love this potato masher! Reminds me of my mother's and my grandmother's tool! Mashes up a big bowl of boiled taters in no time. I'm very happy with this tool!

It's big, but good.
I love making guacamole, so have needed one of these for a while. As my arthritis got worse in my hands, using a fork to mash the avocados started to become onerous, so I bought this. It's a good unit, but very quickly the handle became somewhat loose, which is why I gave it only a four star for sturdiness. I still use it regularly and the loose handle hasn't really been a problem. It's an excellent purchase.
