Perfect Old-Man-Uneven-Ground-Dog-Walking Shoe
Have you ever watched "The Dog House" on MAX? Did you come away without thinking, "Ohhh... that could be our dog!" Correct: impossible. Cannot be done. So by the time we had binged into season #2, we were well on our way to a canine relationship. And when we finished season #4, last episode (#8?), we were on the local humane society websites. And thus, Olive, a Spitz mix. 40 pounds of pure dream for a couple well into their 70s. So now, I am walking a dog. What are the potential problems for an old sod walking a dog on uneven ground in the American south land? Well, you worry about falls, so an old guy needs a shoe that provides a wider base because when he looks down, he needs to have a sense of confidence in his base: that's important because it engages the cortical component of walking. A non-slip sole because the backyard is uneven? Sure. A shoe that is adjustable in the heel, width, and point of attachment to your foot and ankle? You betcha. A quick-release buckle to remove them so that you don't have to mess around with velcro straps, say, while reaching across a comfortable, and comforting, belly? Um hmm. A long-lived shoe because you are on a fixed income and you were taught by your mother that shoes should never wear out, just be outgrown? Yes, yes indeed. A sandal-ish style because, after all, college was only 60 years ago, and you are sure that you can go back to "The Quad" with your nose flute and slide rule, and maybe meet girls who smoke French cigarettes and wear gladiator sandals - girls who would be fascinated by your hiking sandals and your Beat poetry? "Hey, man, I dig your howl." "I shall sing you a folk song and we shall fall in love promptly." Obviously. And that is what the Tevka Omnium 2 Sport Sandal provides: comfort, security, quality, and... and memories. Seventy bucks for memories like those? Well, these are my criteria and those are my memories, kids. Get a pair of these babies and forge the memories that predict the story of your own consciousness. All that from a great pair of shoes.Buy a pair. Have a life. Write your own review.

Alternative to more costly brands
I bought these because I know the Teva brand is high quality and I expected these would be durable and comfortable. I have to say that they have a lot of adjustments and it took some trial and error to find the right adjustment but I’m really happy with the performance and I have used these for kayaking and they dry reasonably quickly. Overall good value.

Good but slippery wading shoes
Solid. Durable, comfortable for moderate hikes. If you want to use them for wading on slippery rocks (fishing) install a handful of stainless hex head 1/2” screws on the thickest parts of the soles for traction. Maybe file or grind the screws down a bit so they dont poke your foot.

Comfortable but sporty
I wanted something comfortable, sporty, and a touch of style. These are great for summer and heat. Give you more support than a basic sandal. Comfortable. Definitely like any shoe needs a break in for your feet and posture, but works great once you get there.

Goodbye Keen, I love these Tevas
I’ve had 3 pairs of Keen sandals in a row over the past decade as my primary summer footwear. They are great, but I grew tired of the chunky style so I went looking for something different. The Teva Omnium 2 were impossible for me find both locally and also on a 4 state road trip. I finally broke down an ordered my normal size without ever seeing these in person or trying them on.The fit is perfect, and the 2 Velcro straps plus quick lace cords give you a ton of options to snug it up for a rough hike or loosen it for normal walks. The cushioning is soft but not so much that you lose the feel of the trail under your feet. Traction is good but I haven’t done much hiking and have not tried them on rocks yet.The heel did take a bit of beak in for me. The Keen heels make pulling them on annoying, but the design is completely non abrasive. The Omniums will rub your heel more than the Keens. But my heel broke in pretty fast and the advantage is that with the strap, you have more customization of fit. Also, the front Velcro strap has a quick release buckle which means you can slip them on fast for a quick trip to the yard with your dog, no hands required. The only downside with no counter-advantage is the lack of airflow near the closed toes. Keens do a better job in this regard. I’m still happy I made the change, but if airflow on the Keens is on the edge of acceptable to you, you won’t like these.I almost forgot. Keens give you a little slap-back with every step, these Tevas do not.The picture shows the Color “bungee cord” from Trav against my old Keens (grey/orange) bot in sunlight.

Good, but v2 sure ain't v1
Jeepers. This is a prime example of a company taking a solid original design and messing with it to "make improvements", but just making it worse. Teva, ya let me down. The original version of Omnium is one of my all-time favorite shoe...v2 is mid. So what I like about v2: bigger toe box, mesh over toe openings keeps out little rocks, footbed is still thick and comfortable providing nice support. Not so good: follow the recommendations and get a size up from your norm; the fabric lining isn't as comfy, the heel strap and heel back just feel "low budget", not a big fan of the top lacing adjustment being forced in toe direction, contact with skin at top edge of adjustment strap used to be better. These are good shoes, not great, but good. The reduced price is more reflective of the value, so don't pay $80 for these.

Complete Crap
I bought a pair of TEVA’s in Hawaii. They were great, yet as footwear they wore out. The design changed, an I had to deal with that which I did. I compared spending twice as on these as a nice pair of Dockers. I bought these, total piece of crap, straps broke after 1 week. They are heading to the dumpster. No need to whine, refund or replace. Future buyers Good Luck. I am ordering my Dockers. TEVA was once a respected company. Out source trash produce crap. Sorry folks extremely disappointed in this product 😅

Very well made. Looks tough yet very stylish
My husband loves it. Comfortable to go hiking, the traction on loose rocks prove to be helpful against slipping. Will also be great walking on the beach and shallow and rocky rivers with these close toed sandals. And great walking throughout town and entering casually dressed required eateries. Very versatile. Worth the money.
