Very stylish kettle for the money. Boils water just fine, is quick and quiet. The inside is stainless steel so water does not contact any plastic.Tqe water gauge is hidden by the handle (and our hands) while we are filling it so it is awkward to see how much we have put in. But that's a minor flaw and is not spoiling our enjoyment of the product

I absolutely love this kettle! The design is modern yet sleek. I adore how well it goes with my kitchen since I have black appliances but white cupboards. It's quiet, it does take a little while to boil when full but when it boils it's extremely hot and lasts for a while!

We liked this kettle. Looked great. Works just fine. But one year one suddenly the paint is lifting and fast. This only happened in the last week. We never use harsh cleaners. Mostly just wipe and dry. And now we are left with a tatty looking kettle which works but looks sad. We don’t want to just get another kettle. That’s consumer society gone mad. But this kettle was at the expensive end of kettles and it is a quality con.

A gorgeous looking temple. I paid over what I planned to spend because I Love the look of this kettle. It has been with me for over three months and seems to work well. I hope to enjoy it for a long time.

I spent ages picking a kettle, as my last one was one of them glass ones (you can see inside! You know how full it is all the time!) but the terrible water here in London meant it looked crappy and defugging it didn’t really help (you can see inside! Except now it looks yeurgh)Back in the 90s I had one of them Siemens / Porsche design kettles and I loved it, even if it cost the equivalent of (does online calculation) £250 today. Eek.But they no longer make them. And I don’t want to control anything from my phone. Or anything huge. I just want stylish, quick and quiet.And this is, mainly. It works. It’s fast. It isn’t that noisy. If you reboil it within a few mins, the flask-like casing means it boils right up in seconds.A few not-so-good things though. The wire doesn’t wrap around inside the base so you can’t get rid of some of the cord, which my last one had. There is a helluva lot of water in the kettle way before it displays on the side - as in its 25% full and it doesn’t show at all as there’s that much base under the bottom of the liquid display.It pours well - slowly - but be careful on putting it back up to vertical after pouring out a cuppa as if you do it too quickly there’s all sorts of hisses and steam and even some came out so the kettle looked like it had wet itself.All in all, for the price it’s fine. Well made and a few weeks still looks new. I wipe with a damp cloth and the rubberised black outer covering comes up… er, well, black. It’s matte not shiny. An ideal kettle for a person who likes matte black rubberised, um, things.I assume the manufacturers might not use that for a slogan, but hey, people should know that there’s a kettle for EVERYONE.

The lid on this product is dangerous.Hot or cold water, when you poor the water out the lid falls off.Burned myself twice now with boiling hot water.Haven't done a return due to buying in November 2022.

Noise and boil time is great, but the handle flakes off and coating has started to peel off after about a month
