You might need to add a little water to keep it from clogging up when flowing with a glass pen.

Q: Do these inks come in individual boxes within the set?

Yes they do. Very cute bottles each in its own box with charming graphics. The inks are beautiful jewel tones with a pleasing sheen. Our family has been very happy with these for a variety of art and calligraphy projects.

Q: What is the opacity of the non-black inks? Are calligraphy overstrokes obvious?

Hi Florida Guy! I feel the overstrokes are not noticeable when fully saturated, but sometimes you can see a tiny bit when ink is running low
