I don't even remember how I came across this book, I think I just saw it perusing on amazon. BUT, I bought it, and it is an absolute gem. Dane Ortlund challenges us to deepen our understanding of who Jesus is, who we are, and growing in depth of knowledge of Him rather than just trying to improve our behavior. Phenomenal read. I'm taking our worship team through this book and just bought the study guide. Perfect for one-on-one or team reads. This book is thoughtful and well written. Much of this book is an invitation to a way of life that is marked by one thing: looking to Jesus. It gives lots of practical and theological ways to live this out, and it’s definitely worth the time.
