RFI filter? Ha ha, no
I accidentally ordered 2 so I opened one so you don't have to. The only "RFI filter"-like component is a 100nF capacitor from line to ground. So no inductive components like common-mode and differential-mode chokes, and no actual LC or RC circuit. There are 3 MOVs with fuses though, so there is some level of surge protection. And it unsurprisingly doesn't help at all with copious amount of noise generated by a smart dimmer outlet that is currently being picked up by my phono preamp, and I wanted to fix that. The build quality is pretty good though, and it's even UL listed.

May solve arc-fault nuisance tripping issues.
This little guy seems to do the trick for some appliances when it comes to arc-fault nuisance tripping issues. I am an electrician and I have used this with some success to eliminate unwanted nuisance tripping on arc-fault protected circuits. (It cuts out unwanted noise or frequencies that might cause an arc-fault breaker to trip.) However, you should only use this product within it's rating or rated compacity. Do not exceed the product's rating! Otherwise, you could burn it up. And, make sure your appliance doesn't have an actual problem.... (If something you have plugged in causes an arc-fault breaker to trip maybe you shouldn't run or use it unattended just in case there is a real problem.)

Great Filter
The interference created on the TV when the microwave was operated is gone! I recommend this highly if you have a similar problem.

Did not solve AFCI tripping issue with Dyson vacuum
Tried this to solve nuisance AFCI tripping with my Dyson DC08. It has always tripped the AFCI circuits in my home, even when the house was new. I am going to return this item and replace the breaker instead. Other than that, I have no way of verifying this item is doing what it claims to do.Editing review to let everyone know that switching out the breaker did in-fact solve my tripping breaker problem.

Great if you have arc fault breakers
After having some arc fault breakers installed in our house we found that our vacuum would trip the new style of breaker. I leave this hooked up to the vacuum cord and it is able to discharge the arc and not cause the breaker to trip.

Works, but not as well as expected.
As the title says, I expected a better noise reduction on the power line.As a surge protector it may be fine, but as an RFI/EMI filter, it comes up short of expectations.
