Best walker we own, and totally worth its rather high price.
Lightweight (10.6 pounds), folds easily, so you don't have to be an athlete to put it in the car, so the range in which a user can walk on their own is vastly increased. Excellent design, brake cables not exposed so they're safer, the holes for height adjustment are aligned with the brads so you don't have to rotate the connector, the brakes work well, the handles are positioned to help you get closer to the walker. The seat means that the user can stop and rest if necessary. If you are out in the world and need to put the walker, say, against a wall or near a table, it folds up nicely to occupy much less space. There's an accompanying small bag to transport things that you can attach if you like. This was our user's fourth walker and its user doesn't use any of the others anymore. We've already allowed a friend to try our byAcre walker out and they're ordering their own. It's not cheap, but it's worth it to get one's life back.

The Rolls Royce of “Walkers”
Excellent product. Very well designed. VERY light weight - my wife can easily pick it up with one hand. Folds up and can be gate-checked (at least on Delta, probably all major airlines). The only two things to comment negatively about are 1) the finish marks easily. After one week of taking it in and out of the back of an SUV, I can see wear on the finish and 2) if you are over about 50, the backrest is all but impossible to attach and it is uncomfortable when you actually get it attached. They say that they are redesigning it.

Worth Every Dollar
I have a Drive walker, which is well built and served excellently as a walker and a carry-all for my purse, shopping bags, small suitcase, and many other things I needed to carry. After five years, I found it, at twenty pounds, became too heavy for me to lift into my car. I found I was skipping outings because I didn’t want to struggle with my walker. I found this Acre Ultra Light walker, but didn’t buy it for several month because of the price. But I was unhappy needing help with my walker when going out to run errands and for fun so I ordered the Acre. The moment I lifted it out of the box, I knew my money was well spent! At ten pounds, I can easily put it into and out of my car. Now I can do errands and go out for fun on my own again. For me, there are two negatives about the Acre. First, it isn’t a good carry-all like my previous (the Beast) walker. Secondly, it does not have a backrest. I suffer from nearly debilitating back pain due to spinal stenosis. The Acre is okay for brief rests, but my back hurts if I sit on it any length of time because there is no support for my back.I paid $81.00 for a back rest from a different company. It is a very cheaply designed and made - from plastic. I requested a code to send it back for a refund. The company immediately processed my refund. But they requested that I not return their product! That justified my assessment of the back rest.In spite of the high price and two negatives, I love my Acre walker. It delivers just what it promised. And I’m enjoying doing errands and going out for fun adventures without worrying about handling my walker.

Who or where to repair it
It is wonderful. However, I travelled recently and the airline somehow managed to remove one of the screws that holds the left side together and I don't know of a repair shop. The airline is asking for a written repair estimate. Does anyone know. Please helpI just hear from ACRE, the manufacturer and this is what they say:Thank you for your email. I can see from the invoice that unfortunately we will not be able to cover this under warranty, as we were not the seller -"Sold by: Prodigy Enterprises LLC (seller profile)Supplied by: Other"So be aware that the warranty does not apply to us, Amazon customers

Very light weight perfect to load up in your vehicle.
This walker is perfect for you if you have difficulty with weight of a walker loading it in your vehicle. It's kind of 'bare bones" but the seat isnt nearly as bad as you would think. I am a 220 lbs, 5'5" woman and the larger walkers may steer better but are way too heavy to lift to put in your vehicle. I got the wide version. I can lift it with one hand easily.

Love the design; but narrower distance between handles than seat width can affect model choice
STANDARD VS. WIDE MODELS - I love the design and am very pleased with the wide model, which I acquired on my second order. The narrower “standard” unit with a 16.5” wide seat, which I initially purchased, would have been preferable for indoor use. Had the distance between tips of the handles—only 13.75”— been specified in the description I would have known that the standard size wouldn’t accommodate my 200 lb. body.Although narrow, the Standard seat was wide enough for my comfort. Unfortunately it was very difficult to get up again, especially with the ends of rubberized handles catching on my knit clothing. And, there was no possibility of being able to sit and stand if I were wearing a coat! The extra 2" seat width on the wide model was exactly what I needed. The Wide model does feel much more bulky in my 1950-era small house and will not fit through all doorways when the seat is fully extended. Since my intended uses are outdoors and in office buildings, this is not a major issue. My primary need at present is for some support from hands and arms for my weak lower back while walking any distance, and a place to sit when my back and legs becomes tired from standing too long.HANDLE HEIGHT - Be aware that on both the standard and the wide models the maximum height of the handles may be too low for taller people. While standing comfortably erect, measure from floor to wrist. If more than that 37.5”, the handles will be too low.Overall, I am very pleased with this item. A more complete description would have avoided my having to return the first order--not an easy task for anyone who actually needs a rollator--and would have increased my rating to 5 stars.
