Can't comment on the reliability but I've had very good experiences with Transcend products in the past
I bought this to resurrect a circa 1994 ThinkPad in place of its original, failing hard drive, and for that I needed reliable ECC flash and UDMA support. This delivered perfectly - both read and write speeds saturate the ATA protocol and it's blindingly fast by mid-'90s standards. Can't comment on the reliability but I've had very good experiences with Transcend products in the past. Great if you're doing something similar or perhaps need this for older industrial equipment.

Card works great
Noticeably faster read and write than the antique card I was using. Happy Here

Did not work for my intended use
I tried to use this card to replace an IDE hard drive on a Tandy 2500 XL/2. I need an "industrial" CF card due to the media identifying itself as a fixed disk. The computer would NOT start with the card inserted into the IDE-to-CF adapter. Another card does not produce this issue on that computer (a very old Canon-branded card from a camera).I tried this card on another, newer, PC, and, while the computer started fine with it present, and though I was able to run FDISK to partition the card, it resulted in repeated write errors while trying to install DOS 6.22 onto the card.I have begun a return process. I don't know if the problem is with the individual card I received or with the product in general. I will try again with a different card.
