May i know when the laser is functioning, does it make any sound? if there is, can i turn it off? thanks.

Are there any camera apps in this world that actually do what they say they can do and hv good reviews??

Well, their camera app is fine actually. It may be little bit slow compared real time, but I did not have any issues with mine. However, I don't have proper coverage at work, so I always need to go out to be able to check the app. Yet, this is because of the coverage / signal related to my phone company, not their problem.
