Q: Do remotes from other devices interfere with this switch?

I can't say that no remotes will interfere with this switch, but I have used it with an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Insignia TV Remote, Chromecast with Google TV Remote, Sony DVD/Blueray Player Remote, Cable TV/DVR Remote, and even an old VHS Tape Player Remote and none of them have caused any problems with this switch. I have been very happy with this switch.

Q: I have roku stick+ and firetv connected to it, however roku resets intermittently quite a bit, any recommendations?

Q: can this be used without the power adapter?

No, the power adapter (included in package) is needed.
