Its too difficult to understand
The book is hard to understand. It doesn't break it down into simple language. Paul Dempsey's book is more clear and concise. The photos are not colored, there are too many drawings to represent things. Not enough real world pictures. The structure of the book is not very flowing. One topic does not lead into another topic. It jumps from one to another. You find yourself having to refer backwards too many times and having to stop to ponder the concepts they lay out in the book. Its a hard read because of this.

Book falling apart brand new
The binding is falling apart. Not happy after paying $153 for this book.

Used book charged for new
The spine of a brand new book should not be coming apart as well as the ends of the pages sticking together from some unknown liquid drying on it. Glad I paid the price for a new copy tho

Important information and not a bad read for a text book
I'll read anything related to diesel engines, and even though this is text book, written for students, I enjoyed reading it.
