I wish I had one of these much earlier in life as it would have made service on circuits much safer and easier to locate the correct breaker. There's a little to learn which is the correct breaker as it starts to sound with breakers on each side. However the correct breaker will be immediately identified as it sounds the loudest with the highest frequency when it is on top of the correct breaker. So don't rush to a conclusion because you will make extra trips back and forth. I replaced one outlet in record time and with the confidence of a dead circuit. I've been bitten too many times in the past trying to avoid killing a circuit before I did work on it. No second person needed. No unnecessary trips back and forth to the breaker box. Sigh... If only I had one from my Navy years on.
