Will rubber snake scare geckos away?

Can't answer to Geckos, but it definitely works on birds in garden boxes.

Would this float? I’ve read that fake snakes will help keep frogs out, so just wondering g if it would float in a pool.

I seriously doubt it. BTW it didn't scare the birds away.
