Exactly what I was looking for!
Perfectly balanced(balance point is right behind the guard), decently sharp out of the box, fits naturally in a medium sized hand. The false edge is actually coated with a textured black finish like the rest of the knife surface, so there's no mistaking which side is sharp! Great carry for any state that has laws against double bladed knives. Belt clip secures the knife in place well enough. This is a no-nonsense blade, at a reasonable price. Blade is made in China, which is only being noted because I know some people will only buy an American-made knife. Don't let the S&W name fool you, this is -not- an American made knife. That being said, all my praise still stands, this knife is definitely worth the money, and I would bet my dear sweet American posterior on it. This has become my EDC blade over my old Camillus Cuda folder, which is still a great knife, but not as comfortable in the hand.tl;dr - This is a great knife at a reasonable price, please read the full review and stop being lazy.

Good value, decent knife, basic holster. Great for penetration
Mistakenly got the model with the false second edge. But, it's okay because knives are highly regulated where I live and that's a no no anyways. Lol overall knife seems pretty good and good value at around $15. This isn't a normal knife. This is the type of knife you'd want as a last line of defense against someone or something that meant to do you grave bodily harm. It's meant to put holes deep into whatever's you stab with it. Hence the blood groove. Ppl don't realize how much pressure is in a body and how hard it can be to drive a blade deep into a carcass. The blood grove allows some of that pressure to escape allowing a deeper thrust into tissue resulting into a more effective blow. This isn't a survival knife or edc knife, it's the knife I'd want if I had To get up close in personal with a dangerous animal or an attacker and I don't have a longer range weapon like a pistol. Maximal damage coming up. That being said I'd use it on combat mission, a deadly blade used for hunting big game as last resort weapon not a carving or gutting knife, or keeping it in the house for protection from invaders etc. now this is a LAST RESORT weapon in every aspect because you never want to be that close to danger in the first place but if you are and you lost all other forms of defense (I.e. Pistol) and you had to pull a knife, this is the knife I'd want,It's also bit too big to be considered a boot knife. The sheath is leather but could be better. I wish it had a way to swap the belt clip around or remove it altogether so I could place it horizontally instead of the normal vertical way on my belt across my back side. The clip makes it a little difficult to carry on a belt period and next to impossible on a boot lol. But all in all for $15 it's a good value and a decent knife with a basic leather holster.

1 out of 2 ain't bad? Lol *UPDATED*
**UPDATED** Well, got a second one of these, it's a fantastic little blade. The second one unfortunately made it through quality control with only 1 of the 2 sides machined with an edge. Contacted customer support so we'll see how that goes, it's a real bargain of a price so downside to that naturally is when you have to deal with returns that bargain quickly evaporates. Will update if a resolution comes through otherwise I would still recommend. Probably just bad luck on the one here.Customer service was fantastic, just an email about the problem with a couple photos of the defect and Amy got a new one sent out and pretty fast too! So definitely highly recommend!

Drop point fine edge boot knife, very sharp, easily hidden in boot via clip
Excellent boot knife for the price. It is a drop point fine edge knife and is very sharp. It has a clip to attach to your boot or a belt. The hilt fits your hand firmly and with no slippage due to the hilt guard. Your complete hand fits comfortably on the hilt with sufficient room. Smith and Wesson has thought of everything down to the blood groove and eyelet for carrying it around your neck if you choose to.

It’s a double edged dagger
I bought it cause it said it had a false edge. The only thing false is this item listing.

As expected.
Sturdy clip, nice sheath, clip releases easily. Easy to take on and off. The false edge provides more stability when reinforcing cuts, and the runner allows for easy purchase of the handle.Blade could do with minimal sharpening to make for a good slicer, but serves it's purposes beautifully as a piercing and stabbing weapon.
