Be Always Ready To Power See with Energizer Weatheready Light
I bought this pack of 3Gave one to my dadAnd such a great product for a place where there’s no electricity/ outages all the time / emergency / I placed one on hallway and I tried it the lights were bright and very handy.I placed mine in my apartment hallway and kept as a reserve - I will need to buy more of those for others as gifts.Energizer Weatheready Rechargeable Compact Handheld Light helps you prepare for power outages with a rechargeable plug-in design. Designed for emergency situations, this rechargeable LED light features a built-in rechargeable battery and plugs into the wall so it's always charged and ready to help keep your family safe. This emergency flashlight is up to 4x brighter than standard LED technology and illuminates objects up to 30 meters away to give you the brightness you need when the lights go out. A retractable AC plug goes directly into any standard electrical outlet and folds out of the way while you use this Energizer flashlight. It charges overnight to provide 3 hours of runtime, and it has a red LED charging indicator that lights up to show you when this flashlight is charging. Leave the switch in the on position while it charges so the compact flashlight turns on automatically when the power goes out, making it easy to find and convert into a handheld flashlight. No batteries to replace, always ready to shine.

Power in your pocket
A great convenience-- they fit well in most pockets. Simple to re-charge. Have purchased several times, including for gifts. (If you need super bright light, shop for more powerful flashlight. But these are fine for general use.)

Neat little flashlights, Ni-MH NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE AAA BATTERY (NOT lithium)
When switched to the ON position, the light will go out when you plug it in the wall, and turn on when you remove it from the wall, or when the power goes out. The power switch must be in the ON position for this to happen, and it's nice that this is selectable. The light output is decent enough for finding your way around a dark house, or even out in the yard, visibility and to be seen while walking a dog, things like that. The 40 lumen rating seems about right. It should be noted that this is much dimmer than emergency lighting required in public spaces. I do appreciate that it's not a disgusting ghastly color of light. that said, it does have bluish spots and yellowish halos, common to inexpensive LED lighting, especially when focused with a lens or reflector. In this flashlight, the reflector actually is used for beam control. The beam itself is fairly tight given it's low light output, casting about a 2-foot diameter spot from roughly 10 feet away. The product listing and details specify a lithium battery (or lithium ion, depending where you look), which this DOES NOT HAVE. Please see the pictures I've attached of nickel metal hydride battery inside, clearly labeled: "Ni-MH"IN THIS USE CASE, THAT'S ACTUALLY A BETTER CHOICE, because nickel metal hydride batteries are completely fine with being kept at full charge, such as this will be, when constantly left in the power outlet, presumably charging all the while. By contrast, lithium-ion batteries (aside from the much less common LiFePO4 chemistry) are very unhappy being kept fully charged. Doing that will reduce their lifespan significantly. So it's a good choice not to use those here! However, it is misrepresented in the description and the included battery is unnecessarily small, a single AAA size, labeled as 700 mAh. It will have less then half the run time as it could with a AA size, generally 2000 mAh for a cheap one, which these flashlights could have easily been designed to fit.Mislabeling the battery chemistry and skimping on its size is really a disappointing showing coming from a major battery brand! That is why minus one star. If they had put in two AA 2,000 mAh batteries and change to nothing else, they would have earned five stars from me.I have not yet tested the runtime.Delightfully, though, this is only held together with 4 Phillips screws, with another two holding down the circuit board. With a soldering iron and a little bit of skill in it's use, the included battery rather easily could be replaced at its end of life, or upgraded any time with a tabbed nickel metal hydride replacement battery. To fit a larger AA replacement battery, some additional hacking would be necessary, due to the position of the circuit board and other plastic features inside the housing. I'm not fully sure if there's quite enough space even then. The design is reasonable for holding in the hand, they're very lightweight, partially owing to the tiny battery, and the plug prongs are fully retractable into the handle so they don't have to be in the way when unneeded. Some other reviews mention it feels cheaply made, but the plastic is quite stiff, maybe ABS or polycarbonate? And although hollow (and cheaply hollow sounding) I think given it's minimal heft it won't break from an occasional drop or from normal use.

They are not huge flash lights. They still are enough in an emergency.
So far they are great and it is a pack of 3 three so enough to spread around the house for safety.

I love to have these around for power outages
Husband had just left for work at 5:30 am and out power went out. The house was pitch black...even the streetlight was out. I had no idea of where a flashlight might be and was not going to stumble around the house trying to find anything. So, I basically sat down on the kitchen floor and waited for dawn to arrive. Not a good feeling. I later went out and bought small flashlights and stashed them in various drawers all over the house...but, the batteries would no longer work when I actually needed them. Then I found these. And they are perfect. Make a very small night light so not obnoxious at night with bright lights. But...when the power goes out...they light up exactly where it is needed. Our old ones finally died so purchased these as a replacement. They only take up one plug so the other is still available for use. And they are narrow and do not stick out too far, either.

Terrific light
Great for safety and ease of use.

Flash light.
Bought these because our power goes out with bad or windy weather. If in the socket, they come on when the power goes out and can be used as a hand held flash light.
