Not sure how well this or any of these products are supposed to work but it took a lot of elbow grease and even then, the small tar particles were just moved around. As a caveat, even the products that worked better still just seemed to move the particles around but with more ease loosening them.

PRODUCT DOESN'T WORK
I followed the directions , the car was cold, I sprayed liberally, let sit for 30 seconds and rubbed hard nothing happened. sprayed again 2 more times still nothing happened. This company won't let me return item, so i'm stuck with IT. i'll just throw it away. money wasted. JUST DON'T BUY IT

The smell is strong, but the product is effective! Before and after. I used it on my rims on my car also to remove the stubborn grit that prevented my rims from shining.
