With Powered Lift-Away, the brushroll keeps spinning when you detach the pod, giving you powerful cleaning above the floor and under furniture. LED lights on the handle and floor nozzle provide visibility in dark spaces, spotlighting hidden debris. The HEPA filter and Anti-Allergen Complete Sealed System trap dust and allergens inside the vacuum cleaner, while Advanced Swivel Steering lets you easily maneuver around furniture. With the included Crevice Tool and Pet Multi-Tool, you can pick up hair and debris and even deep-clean dander from a multitude of surfaces.

Really good vacuum!
I had a shark vacuum for 5 years. Unfortunately I needed to replace it. I went through 3 models until I found the one that most closely mirrored the features on my old one. This one moves itself forward but requires you to pull back. It is slightly heavier than I wanted but I can manage.(arthritis, fibromyalgia and replaced shoulders). It has excellent suction, large dust cup, LONG cord that wraps on the main body, 3 level adjustable carpet/ bare floor levels, the on- off is easily reached on the handle, you can take the main section off to make going under furniture easier, and it has the felt roller ball that keeps small particles from flying away( it pull them in for the main brush to grab easier). I am happy with the performance of this vacuum. The only con is it is not as quiet as I would have liked but it is not excessively loud. ( my lastmodel ,which was a NV800, was a bit quieter)

More like 4.5 stars
Just got this. Haven’t used the lift-away functionality yet. But I’ve vacuumed the carpets and can share some initial impressions. Up front, a con: it’s not as maneuverable as my previous Shark vacuum. I don’t know what model that was, but I had it for about 10 years. A basic upright “professional.” This new vac is heavier, which I actually don’t mind, and not quite as agile as the old one. That all said, a major pro: it sucks something fierce. It feels almost like I’ve never *really* vacuumed before. In one room alone I’m pretty sure I captured a full cat’s worth of fur. This powerful vacuuming functionality is really what I was looking for. I can mostly overlook the maneuverability issue because this thing cleans like I’ve never experienced before.

Love this new shark.
I go through a lesser value shark Navigator vacuum every 2 years, dogs shedding and parrot mess. My last Shark navigator, the hose broke and couldn't find a replacement. This one, even though its heavier, hence the 4 stars on maneuverability, making it more of a workout when vacuuming, really packs the suction power. Lets not forget a feature of these vacuums I love, the LED headlights. Well this one not only has the headlights on the head of the vacuum, it also has a light on the handle, fantastic feature, absolutely love it. Hope it last a few years longer then the others for the price, definitely an upgrade. All the tools from my previous sharks, that are now in the vacuum graveyard, work on this one as well, so I get that added bonus. This really does the job. The only way I could be happier is if it last a while.

Great suction power
I truly do like this vacuum, and it has great suction power on both carpeting and hardwood floors. However, for me it’s heavy. I have significant neck, left shoulder and back problems/pain, and this vacuum is heavier and hard to maneuver for me due to those issues. I think other reviews mentioned wrist pain regarding the maneuverability, and that is true. I’ve also gotten blisters on my thumb from how tough it is to move around - again, my health issues are the biggest factor here. It’s a great vacuum, though. I do have to empty the container very frequently, but I have three very hairy animals who shed a lot, so that’s probably why. It picks up all their hair very well!

The Cadillac of sweepers
I call it the beast. It's heavy and steers like a Walmart cart on a bad day. Lots of snap this to that to make it work. Now for the good part. It amazed me how well it cleaned, the dust brush for use on my ceiling fan is awesome with the adjustable head. Dumping is so easy, no dust to fight. I like all the filters. It's hard to open the front heppa filter but that doesn't need changed as often. And the man of the house loved it! Maybe he can run it for me more often now. He paid for it.lol

Works great
Little hard to push and pull, but it will pick up dog hair. This is one of the best Vacuum I have ever had. This vacuum has great suction and will pick up a lot of hair and dirt.

The description sounds good but it is not like the pictures.
I’ve owned three Shark’s vacuums and loved them all. That is why I replaced my old one with another Shark, model number ZU881. My new vacuum is so heavy and hard to maneuver that it takes twice as long to do my work and by the time I am so tired that I can't do anything else for hours. The maneuverability problem has also forced me to damage baseboards and furniture legs. The wand is so heavy that I can not hold it up above my head to clean, and when using the lift-away feature the motor is so top-heavy it falls over when set down to rest. The dust collection bin is less than half the size of the old one and needs to be emptied after almost every room. The on/off button was put in the handle for convenience but it is so hard to push I have to stop and use both hands to turn it on and off. The onboard tools are also hard to access and use. This engineering and design of the new Shark’s Power Lift-away must be for the android operator because it is not usable for the average human being. This is not a wimpy wine, I am 6’1 and 195 lbs. and still can’t use this new model.

More than I expected.
I recently purchased an area rug. My vacuum cleaner would not move on it. Just couldn't push it. This shark has the ability to reduce the suction allowing it to work on this area rug. It also works great on hardwood floors. Highly recomend.
