This is for a 6 Gallon container isnt' it?

it works on all of my 6 gallon,6.5 gallon, and my 1 gallon carboys.

How long is the glass tube?

The tubes are actually plastic. The outer tube is 23 inches or 58.4 cm. The inner racking cane is 22 inches or 55.8 cm. Plenty of length for both my 5 gallon plastic bucket and my 5 gallon glass carboy.

How is this at filtering sediment, especially in regards to dry-hopping?

The siphon bottom opening sits about 1 inch off the bottom of your carboy or bucket. I've found this adequate even with dry hopping. Just be very careful not to disturb your beer when or if moving it prior to the transfer. As noted by the other answer, it does not filter.

Does this fit a 3/8 inch bottling wand?
