Gorham871430 Biscayne 65-Piece Stainless Flatware Set, Silver

These were a replacement for my mismatched outdated cutlery and they are a great deal for the price. They are hefty and well balanced, but it took some getting used to the increased weight.They are much bigger than standard 1$ cutlery, so the old drawer needed a rethinking.Haven't had any problem with scratching, staining or rust; these will stay with me for a while.Update: the metal is not compatible with my Ikea plates (or ceramic kind of plates); they are all scratched and make that awful scraping noise when used. Other than that, good stuff.

Muy bonitos, buena calidad, son de acero inox, por lo que son un poco pesados, son tamaño normal, pero el set es un poco pequeño, esperaba que fueran un poco mas grandes, aún así estoy muy contenta con mi compra, los compré a muy buen precio y son perfectos! Me encantaron!

BEWARE!. DO NOT BUY THIS FLATWARE! The reports of rusty knives are all too true. I unfortunately ordered a second set before I realized the knives were rusting. It would be very expensive to return the 2 sets, so I diligently inspect the knives and sand off the rust as needed. This is a real disappointment, as I like the design and weight of the flatware otherwise.Addendum, 10/16/2017: At first, it was just small areas on the blades, which were easily sanded off. Now, several months later, the handles are also rusting. Since they are roughly textured, they are almost impossible to sand. Plus, why in the world would anyone want flatware that, in addition to needing to be washed and dried by hand to try to prevent rusting, also needs to be sanded??? This is an example of extremely poor manufacturing practice and should be removed from the market.

I love this set, I think it's beautiful and easy to hold. That being said.... For some reason all the kives have rust spots on them after about two months of use. It's very strange. You can see in the photo that the kives have rust all over them but the spoon and fork on either side are just fine.
